I no longer have a fire hazard in the basement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works, nicely made with some modifications *by A***R on July 9, 2026* This lint trap was exactly what I was looking for after cleaning my dryer vent for the upteenth time. I did have to add foam weather stripping to the door (otherwise the lint would have easily escaped the gaps in the door), and used dust flex cuffs to clamp to the dryer vent duct. The end result: zero lint has escaped the trap, and I've already emptied the trap twice with trapped lint. Note, it will not trap *all* of the lint--it's not supposed to. But it does trap larger particles that can eventually build up.
