The camera works well. I can’t complain. Customer service is hard to contact. They probably don’t exist. I had to figure things out. I think tech support should have contact phone numbers. 2020 update Im still having problems with the system and now there is no playback. SMH money down the drain.

I am not happy with this cameras 40 feet away two cameras sometimes don't work, app to use on phone so bad also do not tell you with a beep when somebody is outside by cameras.

I believe in fair reviews, so 4 out of 5 stars is appropriate. Cameras and NVR display are crisp and high quality with a decent range. Installation is not too difficult, just pay attention during the System Setup instructions. There are some extra pieces/parts in the kit not addressed in the instructions or the website. One misleading note on the product info is it's advertised as a self-contained unit not requiring home internet. It is up to a certain point as the internal router will interface with the cameras and record any actions. But, in order to interface with the internal router via a computer or smart phone, it does need to be directly connected by an Ethernet cable to your internet's router. Given the way my house is set-up, the router is not centrally located. I had to buy a WiFi range extender with an Ethernet port in order to fully take advantage of the product's capabilities.

I received the system with 15 inch monitor promptly and found it well packaged. It is truly "plug and play" and the camera resolution both night and day is amazing. My only complaint (so far) is the sorely lacking instructions. They put you in the general area (if you can interpret the Chinglish) and then leave you to your own devices to determine the settings for each process. The web site is as brief and poorly written as the little 28pg instruction booklet I received. I have not tried tech support yet until I have had time to formulate my specific questions because I know I will be further confused without them. I don't understand why these Chinese tech companies don't realize the benefit they would receive from hiring the services of an English speaking technical writer to work with their engineers and develop a complete and well written manual for their product(s). I'm sure the ultimate savings to them in time not spent trying to answer and satisfy confused customers and product return avoidance would far exceed the cost of hiring a writer. Sounds like a real business opportunity for a tech savvy US company.
