Well I’m glad that I added this one to my collection it’s different

I like everything oversized and was expecting this watch to be the same as most I've had before however it is more in line with the size traditional pocketwatches were in the beginning. Even so, its beautiful, love that it is luminous and looks great on my double albert watch chain.

I have carpal tunnel and had to quit wearing my watch because of the braces. I bought this pocket watch and I couldn't be happier! Beautiful, keeps great time, don't have to worry about winding it all the time. I recommend it to everyone!

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS WATCH! After I got this, I tried to set the day/date and the crown was VERY difficult to move between hours, day & date. When I was able to get to the day setting it would pop out of position at the least touch. The day setting was less sensitive but no easier to find that position.

I ordered this BOSHIYA Hollow Carved Quartz Pocket Watch with Chain Arabic Digital Luminous Dial & Day Date pocket watch for my teenage son. My husband carries a pocket watch, and our kid has been interested in them since he was small. He also loves midcentury menswear, this is a kid who wears a suit or jacket and tie to high school every day by choice. He also loves Victorian/Edwardian mens style, so the pocket watch seemed very much his style. This is an ideal starter pocket watch for a teen or anyone who loves the vintage style and doesn’t want to spend a lot of money. At the current price ($15.99) you get a lot of style. The watch is small, about 1 3/4”, and about 1/2” thick. It has a sort of open cut work design on the cover, and a filigree design on the back. This is made of a silvery metal and includes a detachable chain about 14 1/2” long. The chain can be hooked to your waistband, belt loop, or waistcoat pocket. The dial is clear and easy to read. The font for the numbers is a touch modern, it looks more 70s vintage, a slight disconnect from the filigree/cutwork designs, but still aesthetically pleasing. For the luminescent element to work, the watch needs to be exposed to sunlight. My son says it works fine, but the glow is not very bright. He’s very pleased with this watch. I was delighted with the quality—at this low price point, I was figuring it would be more a prop than a real, working pocket watch, but it is a real, working pocket watch. It looks great strung through his waistcoat with the chain showing, very old school style. A perfect starter pocket watch. This would also be great for costume/cosplay use.

This is a nice watch that really looks good and tells the time. I remember when I was a kid I was obsessed for some reason with my dad's pocket watch. It's fun finally having one of my own.

It's a piece of garbage, the date is in Chinese and will not allow me to reset. Not even worth it to send back. Never buy this watch.
