Gentian violet is used in our house for thrush. It’s messy but effective. The taste is not great in any one I have ever tried but you suck it up. It can stain so be extra careful if you don’t want to stain something. Good value on this!

This was recommended by my dermatologist. It works I have cracked hands and feet and this helped minimize the pain immediately. After a few days the pain was gone. I am healing. Only problem is I look like I got in a fight with purple dye. Don’t care as long as it works

This Gentian Violet is very good for mouth sores. I am always biting inside my mouth so put a little bit Violet on a cotton ball and dab on the sore inside my mouth.

Works great on dogs and humans

This was the absolute only thing that cleared up my daughter’s thrush and my thrush! Dealt with giving it back and forth to each other for 9 months of nursing…then we tried this!! Worked within the first couple applications!! I even lent this to my friend for her husbands thrush. Just looks like you suckered in a purple marker for a few days, or in my case I had to make sure I wore black nursing bras while using it or while my daughter was using it. It DOES stain and it does not come out.

Review Do not buy this brand of gentian violet. It is EXTREMELY diluted! This stuff has approximately half as much of the actual product compared to every other brand I have used of this stuff. There is no way it is the percentage they claim it to be. Gentian violet actually works great at preventing infections so I definitely recommend using it just buy a different brand!
