Amazing! Just buy them. Fit the Meze 99 Classics quite well and substantially improve the comfort.
I recently purchased the Meze 99 Classics headphones and was in fact thinking of selling them due to the discomfort while wearing. The stock earpads are just awful. They would press against my ears to the point where I couldn't wear the headphones for more than 15 minutes at a time. I did loosen the clamp force of the headphones by stretching out the spring steel headband which somewhat improved comfort, but the stock earpads would still give me that 'pinching' sensation around my ears after some time. However, these Brainwavz earpads (in addition to me stretching out the spring steel headband) has led to substantially improved comfort where now using the 99 Classics is actually enjoyable and I look forward to using them. So I'll now be keeping these headphones. The Brainwavz pads are also deeper, so if your ears touch the inside of the cups with the stock earpads, chances are they won't with these aftermarket ones. In addition to being deeper, these Brainwavz earpads are also thicker and have much more foam (and arguably better quality foam) inside them, which better disperses the weight and clamp force of the headphones around your ears and in turn leads to far greater comfort. The stock earpads also feel 'cheap', whereas the Brainwavz ones feel a lot more luxurious and premium. Aesthetically, the Brainwavz earpads, being larger, make the Meze 99 headphones look more 'substantial', imposing and 'heavy-duty', whereas the headphones look rather puny with the stock earpads. Although the Brainwavz earpads are not technically made for the Meze 99 series of headphones and are instead designed for the Audio Technica ATH-M50X, they fit the Mezes quite well (although installing them can be a bit tricky initially). The pads are available in several finishes - microsuede, velour, hybrid, perforated, pleather, etc. I purchased the Microsuede ones. I can wholeheartedly recommend these earpads. Shame on Meze for including such atrocious earpads with their headphones. I understand that they have to hit a certain price-point for their more affordable headphones, but still, the quality on the stock earpads is so poor that you would expect them with $50-$100 headphones, not $300 Mezes. I am not affiliated with Brainwavz in any way. This is just a PSA for current owners of the Meze 99 Classics/Neo headphones, so that they can enjoy these headphones with far greater comfort.

Replaceable earpad
A great product with a good quality material used in it but it easily get the dusty. It really comfortable in your ears and it doesn't quickly warm your ears as a perfect fit for every ears size as it is big it is easy to install in your headphones.

Excellent upgrade to ATH-M40X
This review is for the 'hybrid' variant. TL;DR they're a huge upgrade to my M40x headphone, in terms of comfort, sound quality and looks. Was undecided between the hybrid finish and the micro-suede, but upon trying it out, no regret. Price seemed high but it's got my headphones looking, sounding and most importantly feeling like new again, so completely worth it. REASON FOR PURCHASE: Bought this because the synthetic leather-like material covering the original earcups was thin and flimsy and started peeling/flaking off after about a year of moderately gentle use. OTHER ISSUES WITH THE ORIGINAL EARCUPS: - when left unused for a few weeks, possibly due to temperature, the pads on both sides would get stuck, and separating them caused slight tears which ultimately resulted in the peeling off as mentioned earlier. - during lengthy producing/mixing sessions, my ears would get hot and even sweaty (and I don't sweat a lot normally), so I'd have to take them off for a few minutes. Having used Beyerdynamic DT-990 and DT-770, I realised the so-called velour would help with that. Although the fabric on the beyerdynamics is different and much softer than on these, but it's still very comfortable. - I have large ears that kind of stick out, so the original earcups definitely felt cramped, specially compared to a DT770. ears would press against the inside of the earcups. after lengthy sessions, along with the ventilation problem, it got uncomfortable enough that I had to take off the headphone and massage my ears. REASON FOR THE 5 STARS: - Stays cool after long sessions, though I haven't tested in very hot weather yet. Still, at least this velour material won't stick to the skin like the leatherette stuff would. Ears barely touch the inside of the earcups, so it's very comfortable because of that, too. - Soundstage (sense of spaciousness, perceived separation of left-right channels) is vastly improved, because of the larger size. More space inside the earcups gives the sound waves room to hit/reflect off different parts of your ear, making it a bit more like listening to live music/speakers, as opposed to being injected straight into the ear-canal like with in-ear phones. - Many reviews mention a huge loss of bass. I experienced a very slight reduction (perhaps inevitable due to the larger size). I enjoy a healthy amount of bass, but I feel the M40X already has enough of it that a slight reduction doesn't hurt it much, and the huge improvement in clarity and sense of space makes it more than worth it. ON THAT NOTE: While changing the earcups, I noticed 2 things: one, that the fabric lining that covers the drivers is much thinner on these compared to the original pads. Second, the M40X originally has a separate, thin foam pad inserted between the drivers and the pads' inner lining. I felt removing this oval disk would probably let through more of the high-end/sibilance that some people have mentioned, specially with the thinner lining of the new earcups, so I kept it in and personally find the sound to be pretty well balanced, not harsh. People with other headphones might want to experiment with this as a kind of hack. Also, overall external noise isolation seems to be very slightly reduced. As in, it allows a tiny bit more external sound to leak through.

Most Comfortable Ear Pads!
Iโve had my ATH-M40x for over 5 years. Last year, the original ear pads started shedding their faux leather. I first tried the budget-friendly Crysendo replacement pads, but they were stiff and uncomfortableโthey started hurting my ears. The soundstage also felt very narrow, and I didnโt even feel like using the headphones anymore. I was considering buying a brand-new pair of headphones, but then I decided to give the Brainwavz ear pads a shot after doing some research online. This month, I finally invested in a premium setโand they were absolutely worth it. Theyโre incredibly comfortable, and the open soundstage is even better than the original and cheaper alternatives. Highly recommended if comfort and sound quality matter to you. Definitely worth the price. I now listen to music every day. I use the FiiO K3 DAC/AMP to power my ATH-M40xโand it works like magic.

Good initially but not worth the price.
Writing the review after 1.5 years of sparing use. Though the finish of the product looks nice initially, the quality of the material is not good. The faux leather has started to flake off even though used sparingly. Ultimately not worth the price. For the quality it should be priced at max 600 rs.

Nice replacement earpads fot Audiotechnica Ath M50 x.
These Ear pads are very comfortable. Only downside is that these attract a lot of dust. Apart from that there is no wear and tear like in the original ones even after 6-7 years of use. Price is a bit on the higher side.

Inadequate quality
While I do really love brainwavz's PU leather and Sheepskin leather pads, I was really disappointed to see the extremely poor quality of these velour pads. The stitching is coming off in less than a month and the pads have this stringy white thread-like things coming out of it from everywhere which make the pads look really ugly and unhygienic. I don't think this is an issue with my particular pads, though the stitching issue, i suspect, is. In any case, I don't think I'd recommend them. If you can live with the poor quality of materials, the pads are comfortable. Noise isolation is pretty much nonexistent which is to be expected from velour pads. The sound stage is somewhat improved from the PU leather pads but at the expense of bass. If you own bass heavy headphones, these might help cut down on that.

Good product. Works great with ATH M20x
TL;DR version They feel like the bums of sweet Jesus wrapped around your ears Subtly caressing your cheeks and neck. Although on a more serious note; I have only used them for 2-3 days, but I can really feel a massive difference between these and the stock earcups that came with my Audio-Techinca ATH M20x. The velour material over the pleather cups feel great, and don't make your ears all sweaty. There are holes on the inside to help with the air circulation I suppose (works). The earcups are also larger, and fit my ears inside with no problems whatsoever. Earcups are made of memory foam which sit lightly around the ears and are soft and fluffy. Had no problems putting them onto the earcups. Just a little bit of stretching is required. Be careful not to get these in contact with any hair products like wax, gels, oils, etc, as velour can get dirty because of those. Oh, they also come in a plastic zip-lock type bag for easy carrying. Overall a great product, would recommend. ๐

Must Buy for most M series Audio Technica Headsets
Great replacement for stock audio technica leather ear cups, much comfier, fits nicely and is more breathable. I am not sure how it will wear over time but the stitching is firm and seems like it will hold up. 5/5

Excellent replacement ear-pads for the ATH-M50 after some EQ adjustments
Insanely comfortable ear-pads for my Audio Technica ATH-M50. I needed a replacement ear-pad because my old default ones were cracking and already half disintegrated. These ear-pads are breathable, comfortable even after long periods and fit perfectly for the ATH-M50. It was very easy to install as well and once it's on it will stay on. The memory foam is soft with just the right amount of softness to be comfortable with the velour pressing against your head. These ear-pads have a premium look and feel to them and won't look out of place when attached to any headphone that these ear-pads will fit on. They will change the sound for the ATH-M50 because they are thicker than the default ear-pads. I noticed a subtle change in the bass after switching along with a larger sound stage. But it's no major change and with a few EQ adjustments on my phone I'd say the sound got even better than before. If there is one bad thing however about these ear-pads is that velour attracts a ton of dust. After just a day of usage you will notice the dust sticking on the velour part of the ear-pad. Just get a cheap lint roller from a dollar store to clean it up every once in a while. Overall I'd recommend these to anybody looking for a replacement ear-pad and has large headphones.

Made my headphones a joy to wear.
I needed better earpads for my Superlux HD661 headphones. Although it's not stated as suitable for the HD661, similar size headphones are listed. I took a chance and ordered them. Well, they do fit and are vastly better than the supplied pads. They are also bigger than the originals so feel even better over your ears. My first listening session lasted a few hours without even noticing time passing. That never happened before because I was always aware of a pair of ill fitting, sweaty phones clamped to my head. There is no manual adjustment in the fit of this model of Superlux. A pair of rubberised wings are supposed to apply downward pressure on the head but do not really do much in reality. Now with the Brainwavz fitted the wings work and apply just enough pressure to hold the phones exactly where you place them over your ears. You can improve matter further by applying a mod mentioned by another reviewer. Roll a sheet of kitchen paper into a tube (roll around a pencil or something similar). Then push it into the gap between the foam pad and the integral black fabric that protects the driver. This will make the pads even deeper and more comfortable. The Brainwavz do seem to alter the sound for the better. HD661's are a little lite on bass but the Brainwavz seem at add a little weight to bass. These earpads are well worth the asking price.

Confortable
They do their job, adapting well to my ears and allowing me to use them for longer than the original ones did. Might get a bit hot after some time but to be honest I can use it for hours without having a headache.
