See if you can find something better, these are more like liners women wear with heels rather than socks.
First off, these aren't "men's" socks. The pattern must be but I can't imagine anyone over size 5 UK wearing them. The material is not cotton. I bought them for wearing inside vans. When worn with shoes that have cushioning (vans Era) they don't slip so that's ok. They sit really low on the ankle, so if you tend to get shoe bites around heal/ankle region definitely go for something else. Also when I wore them with my not cushioned (vans authentic) they kept rolling down so much that after an hour I just removed them walked around without socks. They won't last for more than 5-6 washes but that's expected at this rate.
