I have been using this for over 2 years now. I have 2 aquariums with Red Cherry Shrimps and my Shrimp love them. There have been no problems whatsoever and none of the shrimp have fallen ill till date. The Rummy Nose Tetras and Guppies have also recently discovered these Algae wafers and feeding time has now become chaos with these little chaps fighting for food. Overall- a great product. Update: My guppies seem to like it so much that they don't give the shrimp a chance to even go nearby. So I've started feeding 20 minutes before lights off and since the shrimp are nocturnal, they feed on it without being preyed on by the guppies.

To be honest when I ordered this product, i had no idea it would be in disc shape. By wafer I thought it would be light as a wafer. What really irked me was the shape. I decided to grind it to smaller pieces & somehow it worked. No doubt all my fishes were loving to eat it but it was a real pain in the neck to feed them all. Tested on the following breeds: * Silver Shark * Tinfoil Barb * Albino Rainbow Shark * Orange Shark * Loaches * Albino Iridescent Shark The Good Things: 1. Rich in Protein (Approx. 33%) & healthy diet. 2. Doesn't pollute the water much. 3. Great diet for Bottom dwellers Cons: 1. Because it sinks in water too fast, it is not meant for all tropical fishes. 2. Disc shape makes the product difficult to feed. 3. Little pricey for the Qty offered. Conclusion : This product is exclusively meant for bottom feeders like Shrimps, Loaches, Plecos, etc. I made the mistake in purchasing this as i don't have many bottom feeders. For a tank comprising only of bottom feeders this is one recommended diet.

Really good if you have sucker fish. All other fishes enjoy eating it too. It doesn't get stuck in the oxygen pump like the other food. It's also easier to feed them. Mix it with regular food on daily basis and my fishes love it, they devour it within minutes. I buy this again and again, couldn't find anything better than it.

My otocinclus and shrimp love these, especially if medged in a slice of Courgette

I feed pumpkin shrimp these algae tabs and they thrive and love them. They have a smell which I think helps attract them to the tablets. They immediately flock to it!

Excellent quality. Not much dust residue in the bottom of the package.
