The bar feels super solid! I’m using it as my main barbell. It’s compact, but still wide enough to do what ever I need to do. I’m 6’ 2” and I can do wide bench pressing with it. Good knurling. Great balance because the bar isn’t wide like an Olympic bar. If you’re building a compact home gym, the combo of these Eisenlink dumbells and barbell is fantastic. Just buy an adjustable squat rack that you can make narrow enough to rack this bar and you should be set. It uses the same weights as their dumbbells which are great, can be loaded up pretty heavy if you buy enough plates, doesn’t take up much space and is easy to adjust. If you’re a hardcore powerlifter or Olympic lifter this is not the tool for your main lifts, it takes a lot of plates to get to heavy weights since they all weigh 5 pounds, and can’t be adjusted in a rack so you’d need to put it on the ground, change the weights, and put it back on the rack.
