NORTIV 8 Men's Waterproof Lightweight Military Tactical Work Boots Outdoor Hiking Combat Motorcycle Boots

I had total ankle joint replacement about a year ago. Recovery and rehab have gone well. I am overweight so have been looking for mid-height, ankle supportive boot. I tried a conventional 6” hiking boot with Vibram sole, but I found it too stiff and rigid, and the aggressive tread would catch on surface irregularities, and trip me up. Reviewers were saying that these Nortive8 boots were more flexible/ comfortable than most hiking boots so I ordered a pair. They have excellent quality construction. They fit as expected, and are comfortable out of the box. The tread is mild and rounded in the edges, which is perfect for what I needed. Some reviews said that these boots do not provide much ankle support, but I have not found that to be the case. With the 8” height and double hook eyelets, if I snug the laces, they provide plenty of support for my weak ankle. I have worn them outdoors almost all waking hours for about two weeks, and they show no wear yet. Just a couple of minor suggestions for improvement: the tongue could be a little thicker, and the laces are too long. Beyond that, I am very happy with them, especially considering their I’m very reasonable price.

These boots are worth more than 5 stars. Hands down the best boots I've found for my hubby. He's diabetic, a bigger guy, and on his feet doing security work all day. We haven't found a shoe for him that lasts or doesn't hurt his feet until now. He wears his boots out every 2 months but theses boots are still like new and lasting longer than the name brand ones. He's on his feet all day and says he's feet never hurt anymore. Super comfy and a little wider in the toe area. They're stylish and excellent quality. Definitely recommend and I won't buy anything else for him now but these to work in.

Okay so I needed an inexpensive all black comfortable work boot. I must say that these seem like a great buy at this price point. They’re very lightweight and the construction seems sturdy. Ankle is a little light on the cushion side of things, however the insoles feel soft and is very comfortable. I say they are true to size I where a 10.5 fits great if you have flat wide feet you should be good. Don’t know how abrasion resistant they are being as tho they’re made with Cordura fabric. Warmth and waterproofing still needs to be tested. They are very easy to to put on. And functionality should be good will update.

I've worn these boots 5 days a week for about a month. I'm a boot guy needing the features of a boot as I complete tasks on my small farm. For years I have worn expensive boots but always seek out a bargain. These boots were a great price on Prime day and I own tennis shoes made by Nortiv that are good so I ordered the boots. I am impressed. Here's some reasons why. These boots are super light. Listing says just over one pound. Light weight is great after a long day working. And as listing says, they are water proof. Water beads up on lower sections. I treated lower part with silicone just in case but so far no wet feet. Most boots I have owned are so hard to get on but these Nortiv are amazing. They are surprisingly supple and I can slip them on in just a moment. The top two shoe string points are catches rather than holes making lacing a breeze. And speaking of laces, I've had boots that it was impossible to keep tied. All day long I would find laces untied. I don't know how Nortiv does it but the material for their laces stays tied! And the boots come with a spare set of laces! The boots are comfortable and provide adequate support. The soles are aggressive enough that I have not slipped when wearing but not so aggressive that I have to dig out mud from the cleats. I will report back after more time on the farm. So far these boots have proven exceptional.

Ordered these 9/26/25 & am writing this review 11/18/25, less than 2 months later. Had been searching for boots for work and after reading the reviews wanted to give these a try. Work as a courier, so I needed something durable. When I initially put them on, they hurt my feet a little bit so I threw some insoles in them, no big deal. My first disappointment with these was they in fact are NOT waterproof, even though the description says they are. The first experience wearing them in wet grass with just misting rain left my feet wet and cold. About two weeks ago when I got home from work I realized one of the lace loops had torn, making it now tricky to even tie the shoe. I rigged it with a safety pin for the time being until I could figure out a better fix. Yesterday another one busted on the same shoe. (pictured below) I was really hoping that these would at least last me through the winter, and they haven't even survived 2 months! That's only 8 weeks & I work 4 days a week - 32 days of work! It's a shame because the traction has been great on them so far, I will give them that. Overall I would say not to waste your money.

Eyelet broke off within the first week, water riststant to a point but definitely not water proof, and take extremely long to dry. Comfortable, but the grip isn't great on all surfaces especially when it's raining.

After about three weeks of heavy use at about 10 miles per day.. I am fully satisfied. This is my second pair.. the first lasted me about two and a half years. Extremely comfortable, supportive, stylish, lightweight and perfect fit to size. If you are questioning the price vs. quality..? Just get ‘em. This is NOT a; “You get what you paid for” type of boot. Price is low and quality is high. I’d probably pay 3 times what they sell for. Seriously great boot. The only issue I have with them is; I feel like they were designed without the tightening of the laces being added into the equation. There’s quite a bit of padding in the body of the boot.. and you have to tighten the laces up pretty good to get a proper fitting inside.. but it’s a plus for support I suppose. But overall great product and I will definitely buy again.
