Best Pop-Up Canopy I’ve Ever Purchased
I honestly wasn’t sure about this canopy when I first ordered it and actually canceled the order at first. The company reached back out and offered me a discount, and I’m really glad they did because this turned out to be one of the best purchases I’ve made. It took me a few months before I finally opened and used it, but once I did, I was seriously impressed. The quality is excellent, and the setup is incredibly easy, especially for one person. The extra clips on the top are a genius idea and make setup much smoother and faster. You can tell this canopy was designed by people who actually understand what customers need. Even packing it back up was simple. The wheeled bag, pin system, and clear instructions made everything easy to store and transport. Every part of this product feels well thought out and designed with convenience in mind. This is easily one of the best pop-up canopies out there. Strong, easy to use, high quality, and worth every dollar. If you’re looking for a reliable easy-up canopy, I highly recommend this one. Great company and an outstanding product.

Excellent quality !
This is the BEST canopy l've owned - and I've had over 10 different brands in the last 20 years. I go camping often, so it sees a lot of weather, wind, and rough treatment. 1. Very sturdy 2. Smooth and easy to operate 3. Rain rolls right off 4. A little heavier than I'm used to, but absolutely worth it - and I can still put it up myself! I'm a female, 5'6", 126 Ibs. 5. Fair price for the quality 6. Carrying case is deluxe with a full zipper, clasps. Easy to put back in carry bag too. I'm now in my second season with it and still love it.

This 10x10 pop-up canopy is sturdy, easy to set up, and perfect for outdoor use. The one-button system and adjustable height make assembly quick, while the durable, UV-protected fabric holds up well in different conditions. It offers plenty of shade, packs down compactly, and includes convenient features like built-in storage and wheels. Overall, a reliable and practical choice for events and outings.

Extremely Happy With This Tent!
After owning several other brands of popup tents over the years, I am very familiar with the pinched fingers and hands one can receive during the put up/take down process. What drew me to this tent was the CENTERLOK function and 1 person assembly promise. The reviews were all good so I purchased a 10x10 for a recent Earth Day event. I could not be more pleased. The tent went up as promised. I set it up by myself with not one pinched finger. I love the vent in the canopy which kept it cool underneath in the SWFL sun. It was almost 90° and our kids tent was nice and cool. The tent came down super easily and I left the canopy on. It stored easily into the storage bag. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall, it's a great investment.
Wow! Protection from the summer sun and the rain! This is a good investment for me. I'm grateful that there were videos available on how to set it up, as they helped me a great deal. You don't have to be Doctor Octopus to set this up; I did so all by myself and it worked just fine. Two people would be nice, but not necessary. The instructions are really easy to understand, and there's a summary of the instructions on the storage bag that comes with it in case you forget something. I really enjoyed that. There are two plastic bullet-shaped tips attached to the bag (by canvas extensions) meant to keep the legs and the bag together during storage or moving, and it's really neat. One could easily forget how to store the tent in conjunction with the bag, so I just took a picture to remind myself. Yes, the tarp portion has to be installed on the frame. I've used this a couple times, and my main reason for purchasing it was for my trips to the beach. I took one on yesterday, and it worked just fine. Word of advice... putting the legs underneath sand without the metal stays that come with it (or the bags intended for weight distribution) is not a good idea. I was in the water, and I looked back and noticed that someone (the wind) moved the entire tent!! I was like "What?! WHO has the NERVE to MOVE my #$%@ after all my hard work?!" I got out and saw lines in the sand! LOL!!! Well, I proceeded to put the stays in each of the plastic ports, and it didn't move anymore. (= Even when it started to rain (at an angle), it still provided protection for me. But most important was shade from the sun. It's got a neat 'exhaust' port at the top that allows for circulation and ventilation, and that's better that the port is in place. Major likes: 1). Design 2). Color of the tent 3). Easy to assemble 4). Doesn't take up too much space Now... on to my gripes: 1). There are multiple small receptacles meant to fit around a cylindrical head to attach the tent to the frame. They stay in place, but when the wind was blowing yesterday, one kept coming off. I put it back in place when I was preparing to leave (and storing the tent back into its bag), but it kept being stubborn! The others were fine, and eventually, I found a way to keep it in its place. Those U-shaped receptacles are rubber/plastic (?) and not sturdy enough; they may eventually loosen over time. 2). This tent is an attractant for flies. I noticed it when I initially set it up... there were two flies in my rear patio (where I unboxed the item), and I NEVER get flies in there. I thought to myself 'Did these jokers come packaged with this tent?!' but then I thought it was just a coincidence. After the initial setup, I noticed there was another fly underneath the tent! "Okay. This is ridiculous." I advised the fly to leave before I stored the tent in the bed of my truck. Whether or not it did? I do not know. On yesterday at the beach, there were about 4-5 flies underneath the tent AGAIN! And it's always the small ones! My deduction? They're attracted to something underneath there, and it ain't me! LOL!!! XD 3). This tent could've been preassembled by the manufacturer. What gives?! Overall, it's a great investment. The wheels are awesome to be used, but only on a hard surface... I didn't even try to drag that thing through the sand cause it's not that light; I sat it up on my right shoulder and walked on through the sand. I worry about their longevity, though. Oh! The size of the tent! It's perfect! You can get it even taller if you'd like with the clamps that lock in place. I'm 6'6" and I did bump my head on the top portion of it, but I could've set it higher if I felt. The mechanism that locks it in place? Mwaa! Magnifico! Okay. That's it for me. I'd give this bad boy 4.5 stars if I could, but a solid 4 stars. I hope this helps you in your decision. Take care and enjoy! Z.

All-in-all, a great canopy; just need to know its limitations.
UPDATE : May 2026 I’ve used Crown Shades pop-up shelters for years and have always been satisfied with the features and durability. I am impressed that with each evolution of design they just get better and better. I’ve replaced the canopy part but the frames are sturdy and generally last several years. This season I needed to buy a whole new one because I neglected to install the canopy correctly and also misjudged a really bad storm! The new one is even better than the previous one. The frame seems even studier and the addition of little slide on buttons to help hold the canopy on the side braces os so helpful! The wheels have been made more compact so they don’t interfere with the slide on disc weights I use on the legs. I appreciate that the button covers on the legs remain - so much easier to adjust the legs!! And also the center push hub remains - which actually brings my only suggestion to the manufacturer. The button at the top is red - last year a poor little hummingbird thought it was a feeder and caught herself under the canopy, frantically trying to feed. It was a super hot day and the little thing just was exhausted. Luckily, I saw her and got some sugar water for her. She gratefully climbed onto a cup I held up on on a stick and she got a drink while I lowered her out of the canopy to a safe space. So they need to change the button color!! 🤣 I covered it over with white tape to keep other hummingbirds from coming to sample it. Original:I’ve had pop-up canopies before, so I am familiar with their limitations. I actually am floating an older one in my pool! I would love to be able to put this one on my patio, over my furniture, for the summer. But I know that it will never withstand the wind that comes sweeping through my yard. I could probably use it once in a while as long as I am taking it down at the end of the day. However, I know I can use it on my deck, with good anchoring, and leave it up for most of the summer, taking it down for only the severe storms and high winds. I have had it up now for about 4 weeks and it is wonderful. I love the improvements in design that make raising and lowering the legs so easy!! And the center pop-up mechanism is equally awesome! I’ve never had a canopy so easy to put up! To be honest, it was a breeze to initially put up because there were two of us. But I have been able to lower and then raise back up the legs by myself after some windy days. The red button covers and sliding mechanism really made a difference. I have it on a section of my deck that is partially shielded by the house wall and sunroom wall (photo 1). I have 20lb weights on all four legs, and one of the leading legs is bungeed to my railing posts, just to help with wind gusts. It does not cover my entire deck, but it is enough to shade my beloved 3-seat swing. But, with limitations - it is not waterproof, and in a drenching rain, it will get saturated and drip water onto the deck. There are also two “weep” holes on each of the four sides of the canopy (photo 2) that allow water to drain…which is better than having it collect and have the whole thing collapse under the weight. I just try to make sure I bring my seat cushions inside if there is a storm. But, in a passing light sprinkle, I can leave them out. (I live near the shore - we get little squalls threatening every day in high summer.) One thing I am a bit disappointed in, hence the star-drop, is that the legs are thinner, therefore not as sturdy, as canopy structures I’ve had in the past. I have it set at the lowest of the available height selections because it makes it a bit more sturdy in wind gusts. For me, it is not a problem, but I’ll have to raise it up if my taller relatives come visiting! :) I do recommend this canopy; it is a great price. I wish the company had the larger one available in blue - I would not hesitate to get one for more intermittent use over my patio. I may just have to spring for the red one.

Roomy canopy
I bought this for an outdoor music festival, and it was perfect. I've used it for two different festivals now, each time the canopy was up for 4-5 days. It never blew away, which was my main concern. If it gets really windy, you can lower the height of the canopy to make it more stable. That, combined with heavy duty stakes and sand bags, kept me from having any issues with it. It comes with sand bags, but I wish the handles were sturdier. I hold them from the bottom to avoid tears, but the sand stays put and doesn't leak. The canopy is relatively easy to set up. The beige color is nice, and the size meant plenty of room underneath for several people to sit and hang out. I hung curtains from the sides for privacy and shade and added some lights for ambiance, and it became a really nice place to relax. It did rain a few times, but I didn't notice any leakage. The worst part of the canopy is the weight. It's really heavy, but that to me means it's sturdy. It's just hard to load and unload in and out of the car. It's not impossible for one person, but two people make it much easier to move and set up.

Easy Peasy
Very easy set up— I did it myself. Would it have been quicker with two people? Yes. But it is possible for one person to do it if you are already familiar with how these work. Very sturdy, seems durable and comes with everything you need to secure it.

Good Quality
We used this tent last summer a few times camping and for the price I am very happy with the design and quality. The tent is easy to put up and take down for one person. It packs up into the carry case with relative ease. We had a few wind/rain storms blow through while camping and it has held up well. It also comes with the heaviest built hold down pegs I've seen with a product like this. Make sure to allow the tent to fully dry before leaving it packed up for any length of time. If you're looking for a good quality tent to take camping or to your kids soccer games, I would highly recommend this one and I would buy one again.

100/100 on day 1 of installation
It is so beautiful and easy to install.. I love it! Delivery was made the very next day i ordered it. The quality of the cloth and the equipment is soo good. I mean its just been a day so cant say about its long term use, but really really liked the product.. Ordered something big for the first time and glad to say that amazon and the seller did not disappoint. We have packed it back and will install it only when we need it. Did not think of permanent installation. Yet. Edit- the cover even has wheels.. For easy transportation of the whole apparatus. 😁
