## Description

Product Description Mepitel One is a soft separating grid with Safetac - the original contact layer with silicone that minimizes pain when changing dressings. It gently adheres to the skin without sticking to the wet wound 1 - so you can easily remove the bandage without damaging the skin. 2. This makes changing dressing less painful for your patients. Safetac also protects the new tissue as well as the skin intact – so the wound remains uninterrupted and promotes the natural healing process. The wound edges are also sealed to protect the skin from leaks and maceration. Thanks to the open mesh structure of Mepitel One, wound exudate flows into a secondary dressing, e.g. Mextra Superabsorbent. This facilitates topical treatments. Secondary dressings can be changed without interfering with the healing process. Mepitel One is adhesive on one side, making it easy to apply. Thanks to its transparency, you can check the wound without having to remove the spreader. Thanks to the transparency, you can immediately evaluate the healing process without removing the spreader grid. True healing without interruption - can stay on the wound for up to 14 days Safetac technology - The risk of skin damage and pain is reduced at a lower cost - Suitable for a variety of indications. Directions Instructions for use: 1. Gently clean the wound. 2. Place the Mepitel One adhesive spacer grid on the side on the wound, making sure it covers the entire affected area. 3. Press gently to ensure adhesion. 4. Check and change the spacer grid after 14 days or if necessary.

These Silicone Wound Contact Layers are amazing for open or sensitive wounds as they prevent any dressings from sticking and causing damage upon removal, very gentle on the surrounding skin too as it doesn't irritate the skin even though it sticks to it.

Advised to use this for fragile skin tears instead of melolin dressing after & gentle on the skin as placed over the tears then absorbent dressing on top of it, can be left on for several days too
