Not at all. It may 'LOOK' heavy due to the stylish transformer appearance but it's light weight. Good machine , strongly recommending to go for it. (y)

Washable in the sense only outside or can we wash inside ?

It works under shower - you can even dip it into water for washing purpose but not for long time.
