There is a time for stealth and a time to attack. With the AUTOBOTS abandoned, exiled, and hunted by new enemies, it's good to have a warrior like BUMBLEBEE around. The AUTOBOT scout knows when to keep quiet, and when to go on the offensive.

Excellent product, but be patient!
I appreciate anything that is well made and durable - this fits that description perfectly. It's the reason why I chose this model over the others and paid more because of it. If you are NOT mechanically inclined or get frustrated quickly from being challenged by kids toys (box says for 8 year olds and older), be prepared to be pushed to your limits for the first 15 minutes. It comes with a 22 step instruction page, which sort of adds to the frustration because it's not that easy to follow. Eventually, you'll have to go with your intuition to figure it out (all the while your child is keeps asking you why it's taking so long). Once you get through that part, you'll appreciate this model and your child will think your amazing (assuming you didn't throw it against the wall at anytime during you're required learning curve).

Great Leader Class Bumblebee figure for those who don't own one yet!
I was a late in getting a Leader class Bumblebee and after seeing various reviews on Youtube, I knew I had to get my hands on one. Much of what's available was the Dark of the Moon version which was fetching over $100 online. I was quite surprised to actually find this one for less than $50 so I snatched it up immediately. The seller advertises it as a "Deluxe" but it's a Leader class and not a knock off. This version is actually a repaint of the DOTM Leader class Bumblebee but without the Mechtech weapon pack and was sold only in Costco as the Age of Extinction Leader Class Bumblebee. The black paint striping is slightly different in car mode and some paint apps are missing in robot form. Other than that, it's the same mold with the same Mechtech ports and will accommodate the DOTM version weapon pack. I wasn't too mildly disappointed, because I thought that the DOTM version was an awesome figure with great detail although without the Mechtech weapon. It would have been nice if they used the 2016 Camaro in the movie as the car mold, but then again it would have to transform differently with the new Bumblebee look. Also, it would have been really great if it came with electronic voices and car noises, but I guess you can't have it all. I'm sure a lot of collectors and fans were not too thrilled with Hasbro for releasing a repaint, but for some of us who weren't able to pick up the original Leader Class, I'm quite satisfied with it. I love the battle mask feature and great detail. I realize that he does have some back kibble in robot mode, but it clips quiet nicely and doesn't bother me that much. He tucks in quite tightly in car mode with very minimal gaps. It took me a couple of tries to transform him into the alt mode and I made mistakes along the way. After that I finally figured it out. I would not recommend this for children below 8 year of age unless they are patient and great with puzzles because it's not as easy to transform straight out of the box. Instructions are included, but even then, young children will have difficulty figuring it out initially. Youtube reviews are available for those who want visual guidance. I would recommend doing that if you're having problems. I really enjoyed this figure and I'm so glad I finally got to own it. If you don't own it yet, it's still available here in Amazon as a "Hasbro Rare Deluxe Age of Extinction Bumblebee" from Platinumbuys for around $45. I recommend picking it up. I love it.

The figure is very nice and has a lot of detail and size
The figure is very nice and has a lot of detail and size. It is expensive and the one I received had a lot of damage the figure'sdisplay box because it was packed poorly in the shipping box. It was turned sideways in a large but narrow box and has significant damage as a result.

Disappointed in cost for the product
toys are supposed to be fun for kids not delicate or really hard. This "toy" was difficult for not only me and my husband to figure out but also my son, sister and brother in law. When a toy is frustrating in the beginning it discourages you from wanting to play with it. Disappointed I spent $50 on a toy that I thought my son would go crazy over.

My grandson loved this addition to his collection
My grandson loved this addition to his collection! It is fairly large so portability is a bit of an issue. It withstands normal wear and tear from a 12 year old, so it is durable. At the end of the day it looks great on his bedroom nightstand and was worth the expense to make sure it stays around for awhile.

Very Cool Toy.
Cool.... my son loves it... took me a few minutes to read instructions step by step to figure out how to transform... not terribly easy to do for small kids.
