Review: The light bulbs are made of glass. You can opt to buy plastic ones instead. - I didn't put the lights on it, but the bed is beautiful; the window feature on the headboard is fun. Recommended for your little ones.
Review: Has hold up well almost 2 years later wife and boy sleep in it - We got the white bed and it’s sort of a love hate relationship with it. When we first got it, our boy was 1 and he would accidentally bump his head on the fence. This bed has a fence on both sides. Then when our boy turned 2, he would go crazy and jump and bang his head everywhere and would hit it on the sides. We had to wrap those sides in thick blankets so he wouldn’t hurt himself. Now he’s almost 3 and knows better. It is sturdy and I believe the weight limit is like 160-170 pounds and both my wife and I along with our boy have taken a nap in it. Currently my wife sleeps with our son on this everyday for a year and it’s been holding up. We like that it has slates so the bed isn’t too directly on the floor. It was fairly easy to assemble. People have noted the odor. It did have a strong smell but left after 2-3 weeks of assembly. Keep in mind, the bed is rather big and it takes a lot of space in a room.
