If you want to really understand the subject and get a feeling for the concepts, just go for it. For any other need there are plenty of other books.One added advantage is that, it teaches you to approach a problem in the most systematic manner possible.

This book should only be used for solving numerical questions, because it covers very vast variety of questions but lacks depth of theory.. no use for tough technical interviewHighly recommended for GATE.

Useful book for chemical engineering

Its wiley indian edition. its not exactly matching with SI edition. Please change the image..
