My hobby is electronics, and I occasionally need a small box to hold a circuit. This box works well for circuits that will fit inside the 3.75 by 2.5 box. I did not use the provided terminal strip. I liked that the terminal strip had a plastic cover, although the cover would be hard to remove inside the box.I used one of the provided holes and hose connector to allow the wires to enter and plugged the others with a store-bought plug that is sold for an electric box.Given the smallness of the box and the tight fit of the terminal strip I would have had problems getting the wires under the screws on the strip. I probably would have pulled the wires further in and screwed them to the strip before I fastened the strip to the box.I did not test the box for being waterproof, but the supplied silicone gasket should work well.I would purchase this box again if needed.

I used this small j-box to connect individual landscape lights to the 12volt line. The box is buried next to the light. To ensure that the wire compression gland is really watertight I put a bead of silicone rubber around it.Has worked as expected.

Had no issues with this thing. I'm using it to power a few different lights off switches in an outdoor patio and it was pretty easy to use. Limited space in the box, but on the flipside it's nice and small once you get it all crammed in there which is great because I'd prefer not to have a big honking junction box sitting on the post of our otherwise very nice looking patio. No complaints.

I bough this to replace an aging box that was installed outdoors on my property. The grommet connections included will keep your connections clean and dry. The terminal block will let you do your connections without twists. All in all it is a great turnkey kit for your need of a weather proof junction box.

If you work with electricity or electronics, then this Ohayouu junction box with fanning strip is the ideal device to keep on hand in your storage area for whenever you need to connect two cables together, where the connections are safely shielded from the environment. The only requirement is that the cable diameter is between 5/32” and 5/16” in diameter. There are 8 terminals on the fanning strip and each is limited to 15 Amps, but most cables that will fit into the waterproof strain reliefs will probably not exceed those requirements. A pair of wire strippers, needle nose pliers and a Philips screwdriver are all you need to make a solid connection between two proper sized cables.

This is a nice little junction box for all kinds of smaller projects that require multiple connections. It's rated for outdoor use. However, it has an included rope-type gasket that leaves a little bit to be desired. It should be a dedicated gasket and not something you cut to size. Still, that might work out okay. It just seems a little cheap, that's all.The screw-hole have metal inserts, meaning you'll be less likely to damage those when you open the box or close it.The rubberized grommet passthrough buttons are built so you can tighten them up against the wires and seal them up against the elements.

The media could not be loaded. I made most of my comments in the video.It is a splash resistant as it is. The wire pass thru fittings are still a little loose on the 14 ga wire I used.I would suggest putting both pass through holes on the same (downward) side of the box to prevent rain water from flowing along the wire and into the box.But this is a very handy box, with Stainless steel lid screws, a nice terminal strip inside which can easily be removed if you don't need it. A nice little box that will come in handy for that next project that always seems to come up.

This box is made of a very stiff plastic. It does come with cable glands and a terminal block to make your connections. The screws that hold the cover to the box appear to be stainless steel, and those screws go directly into metal inserts in the box. The unattached rope type gasket was truly a head scratcher, after the quality of the screws and their inserts. I have other boxes that have come with the gasket already in place. Why make it so I have to not only stuff it into the channel on the cover but it also needs to be cut to the right length. That is just something I do not understand. Otherwise this box appears to be well made and should resist the weather quite well.
