Surprisingly Awesome.
Surprising. I was looking for something that would make weeding and light cultivation easier in my garden than the hand tools that I have. I spent a long time looking at reviews and different options and felt that this one with its two 4 amp hour batteries made the most sense. I had my doubts. The item was received in great condition and was very easy to assemble. Just attach the handle together and put the guard over the tines pin in the tines. Literally only one screw and they came with an allen wrench to do it. Did it in about 5 minutes. The batteries came. George, I went ahead threw an end and decided to go into my garden to see what this thing was actually going to do. I was concerned when I saw the gear housing was plastic but boy was I surprised. It has plenty of power. Lots of torque and digs really nicely in good soil. I have primarily clay and was able to chew through that clay quite well and as I pulled back on it to give it a good cultivation, I was able to dig in about 4 in quite easily and turn that over and walking forward with it. It was great at cultivating the top layer soil and breaking up the soil to get rid of my weeds. I would highly recommend for between rows and between plant maintenance for anybody that is tired of using their old school hand tools. I did have a small patch that had been overgrown by grass and I wanted to see what it would do on less cultivated and worked soil. On the same battery it chewed through what a 4x4 ft section of this down to about 4 to 5 in about 5 to 10 minutes. It worked really aggressively and was able to chew well through that compacted soil and break it up and get it ready to do some top planting. I will know because it doesn't spend it extremely high speeds. It loves to wrap up grasses and weeds and Roots around the times. Fixing this is really easy. Pull the pins off and pull the tines off to pick at them by hand. It was very easy to clean in this fashion and because of the high torque low speed, nothing was really wrapped extremely tightly.

Best Option Among Comparable Mini-Tillers
Exactly as advertised. This appears to be the same manufacturer as about a dozen other versions of the same product, however this one came at the best price point with the bonus safety glasses and work gloves, for whatever that's worth. As with most Chinese manufactured products, the assembly instructions were worthless, but quite intuitive if you look at the pictures on the box. Tip: install the debris shield over the folded handle, not the motor. It hooks in the front and is secured with a single screw in the back, both contained in the parts bag along with an Allen wrench. The blades slide onto the axles with the hole facing out and are secured with the cotter pins also in the parts bag. Despite what the instructions say, the batteries came fully charged, and I was able to use it immediately out of the box. Pressing the red power button on the back of the battery will light up LED lights indicating how much charge the battery contains more green dots equals more charge. Did an outstanding job, chopping up some pretty big chunks of dirt. The tines do get clogged with grass if you're cultivating an area with existing vegetation, but they clean pretty easily. I only used it once so far, but quite pleased with my purchase.

Very surprised
I am a lady in my late sixties needing a tiller to help me with cleaning up my rose garden it had grown up really bad. I tried to clean it up by hand and there was no way because of my back. Some of the weeds and grass had grown to about 3 feet tall. When the tines got to much grass / weeds on them it was kinda easy to clean once I got the hang of it . Powerful my husband even said he might use it in our garden. Easy to put together. I put it together myself and easy to use. So far battery life seems good too. Works great would highly recommend. And I usually donโt give things 5 stars great size for the job. Seems to be built well. I would buy it again. But I have only had it since June 5, 2025 Very pleased with the battery life!! Oh yes I thought I donโt need the gloves turns out I did so that was a plus to have the gloves. I really really like this little tiller.

This mini-tiller is a GREAT buy !
This mini tiller is FANTASTIC! Has plenty of power, more than I expected. Easy to control even when it is digging into new dirt below the previous cultivated dirt. The thinner, pointier tines do a great job of chewing the dirt clods and clumps up. Since the tines are small, they don't try to take a giant chunk at a time but takes lots of "mini-bites", but at a quick pace so it does the job quickly. My garden is 7' by 25' and it only took me about 20 minutes to do 2 passes, length wise and width wise. Cleaning the tines of sod after I was done was quick and easy (ground was a little wet- so there was dirt and sod stuck to the tines.) This one is a DEFINITE BUY !!

Would Recommend To Anyone !!! Did my very large rock hard chicken coop floor easily.
I purchased this tiller primarily for one reason besides gardening use. And that was to till the concrete like ground inside my 10 x 20 foot chicken coop safely while my chickens were in there with me which could not be done with a gas powered tiller. After several years of chicken droppings on top of the hard dirt already there you could hit the ground with a sledge hammer and it would feel like concrete and not good for the chickens going into another cold hard winter with this type surface for them. So on the last warm day of the year in nearly 50 degrees before the drop in temps same night starting winter I decided to tackle the tilling project not knowing what to expect out of this battery operated tiller. To my surprise, it cut right into the first hardest area I started at and pulverized the hard surface into hard chips then powdered ground from top to bottom layers and mixing them very well. I moved throughout the coop area with the tiller cutting through all the hardness at different angles until the whole thing was ground down to easily manageable dirt to level out with a rake. The whole process took over an 1.5 hours of heavy work on the tiller and all on just one battery still with plenty of battery power to go. How can you beat that? I then went on to add 4 big bags of highly compressed wood chips on top of the now soft moveable ground adding about a 3 to 4 inch layer to it. The chickens immediately fell in love with it digging and scratching and taking dirt baths in it which chickens love to do. Now they will go through the cold harsh winter in an open ended coop exposed to the elements (just like other birds outside do) but with a soft dry warm ground to walk, scratch, and play in. If this tiller can perform like this within the hard conditions I put it through, then your normal garden ground will be a piece of cake for this powerful compact lightweight easy to handle tiller. I have two batteries for this tiller and did all that work on just one. So I know come spring when I am ready to do my larger size garden area on much softer ground to till I will be able to finish all in one work session without having to wait for battery charge times. I now switched from my gas operated chain saw to electric which outperforms gas, to electric tiller over my gas operated one, with all pluses and none of the minuses of gas/oil mixtures, endless pulling to start, fumes, noise, and maintenance issues of gas engines. This is well worth the money for the results it gives you without any of the problems of gas operated tillers.
