Maybe the problem is that I'm an idiot and I didn't understand that this was for some special type of mount, but it certainly wasn't clear. I expected a little more quality for the hardware given the price. The connections all seem to work well. The RJ45 handled Cat5 and Cat6 well. The HDMI handled 1.3 and 1.4 cables well. I use these in pairs to go through walls that need various exterior connections. Some security cameras can then be hard-wired to avoid overloading your WiFi with wireless cameras. The wireless cameras can then be used where hardwiring is not possible.
