Hey dear wife, what's on channel 0???
Having recently cut the cord with an abusive cable provider we wanted to be able to receive over-the- air, digital broadcasts from stations the local area. We live in an area with, according to the FCC, strong digital signal available from the local stations. There are only three local stations and we are 30 miles from the transmitters. The terrain (lower Eastern Shore of Md.) is flat and there is no urban area, i.e. tall buildings, between our location and the transmitters to reflect or impede the signal. In setting up this antenna all instructions were followed to the letter, antenna was tried with two different TV sets on two different levels of the house, the antenna was placed on windows and at 90 degrees to the direction in which the windows faced, the set-up was attempted on both TV sets and in all directions set to both near and far, and all scans were done electronically by the TV's scanning program. The result of these attempts was that no channels were located. The antenna was completely unusable at a distance of thirty miles from the transmitters .This reviewer has no explanation for this antenna's complete failure-to-perform, particularly given the reviews that claim great functionality and the manufacturer's claim of 900 mile reception. What's on channel 0??

Nothings happening
9/5 update:I went back through the setup steps again and the problem was 100%on me. I didn’t have my original TV remote. I needed that to scan for channels after hookup. It’s working great now and the picture is clear. Yesterday it was cloudy and it started going out so I moved it to a window and that resolved the issue.Original rating below:I’ve connected this antenna to every TV that I on and get the same result, nothing. It’s not being recognized or something. I’d like to give it a try but it doesn’t do anything.I’ve connected the antenna cable to the TV then Connected the power cord to the wall, the antenna is in the window and nothing. It’s set to long range and still nothing happens. No scanning, nothing.

It's better than cable
It works but the previous one I owned worked better. This one only picks up one of my local channels and I was getting three before. I don't watch a lot of tv so it is acceptable.

It doesn’t pick up channels as it says
Well I don’t like the fact it doesn’t pick up a lot of channels I have to keep trying to put it up the TV antenna signals. I have had cheaper TV antenna that work better than this I had the nerve to order (2) and wish I can get my money back

bought two of these neither picks up anything
These do not work for me. We are 50 miles from Denver and they don't pickup any of the channels, tried putting in different places, nothing.

Gave me more channels
I got this after reading other reviews. I have a spare TV in the library and needed something that would not add to my already outrageous cable bill. With one of those 19.99 big box store old antennas I attached to the TV, it only gave me like 5 channels. I got this gizmo and alas, after connecting it and doing a channel scan, I get like 65 channels. Mind you it's not big channels like you'd get with satellite or cable, but I get movies, news and local channels without issue. It helps to move the actual plastic disc around a window to get the best reception and do a channel scan to get as many channels as possible. If you just need something to have a tv give you local channels and background noise, this will do the job. Get one.
