Parker pen
I enjoy writing very much and as such tend to use quality pens from reputable makers and I have about 70 very good quality pens of which I have Ballpoint, Rollerball, Fountain Pens and even Calligraphy pens, but I have Parker pens as the biggest make and I have more than one Urban pen which is shaped to sit nicely in the hand and fingers so is comfortable to use and this helps to keep an even flow on the paper. I would recommend anyone to use the Parker Urban especially if they wish to improve their writing skills and technique. The price was reasonable for a pen of this stature. The buying experience was very quick professional and as would be expected of a reputable company like Parker

Good comfortable & ease of use.
Cheap biros are crap to write with although credit due, a great invention.Today throw away plastic should be discouraged and going back to owning and using your own pen is more acceptable, this is why I bought this one.It is comfortable to use and there are no sore fingers as per the biro which are almost always too thin and few write well. This pen is smooth and effortless to use and I can recognise my own writing again.Excellent choice.

Nice pen at a fair price
A Christmas present for my wife. I don't think she has used it yet but if it works as well as two similar items that I have had for over a year then she should be well pleased with it.

Very nice Pen
I love pens and am an avid collector of them..I was going to buy one of the Parker 5th pens, but was put off by the reviews concerning the poor performance and relatively high price of the ink refills. So, I settled on this pen instead.First impressions are is a very nice looking pen, in a nice mat black attractive finish with silver pocket holder. It's relatively heavy, which I quite like. I was worried given the low price that it would have a plasticky feel, but it hasn't. It's on a par weight wise with a number of my favourite fountain pens. How it writes - it's got the liquid ink, and a very narrow point. I'm not overly gone on the narrow point as I quite like a wider nib, but it writes well, it's nicely balanced.I think it's a very nice pen, and at a very affordable price.

Great Pen for price
Not had the pen long but it's a standard Parker Urban. Nice design and £5 cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Just what I was looking for as a Xmas present to myself.

Chiselled too kitsch, otherwise ok.
I got a few of the Urban line because i liked the sleek shape. The fine tip cartridge included feels scratchy, but you can get a fatter tip cartridge if you want, since it is just a cartridge. On to the pen itself. It is one of the biggest parkers I have, considerably bigger than a sonnet. It has a nice weight to it, and tries to look elegant, but somehow it still feels cheap. Probably the kitsch chiselled glossy style has something to do with that. With the cap on the back it is a bit too tail heavy for comfortable writing, but the pen is big enough to use without the cap.I'm not a fan of the chiseled style, and I knew that in advance, but it is not as bad as I feared. I recommend the plain non-chiselled options instead.
