We got these to go in our kids first themed bedroom. They love stacking them like towers. I'm sure they shouldn't, but they also like standing on them. The stumps seem hold their 40 lbs well. They look great too.

These stools are stylish and functional for my boys' playroom. They work well as seating and storage for small toys. Assembly was simple, and they hold up well, though my boys did manage to break one beyond any repair that I can figure out. The stools are made of cardboard or some other similar semi-hard material covered with fabric, which may explain the damage. However, the remaining two are so far sturdy and great for organizing their toys. Overall, they add a fun, useful element to the space.

Ordered these funny little stumps for my boys' shared bedroom. My boys are 4 and 8, with a forest/vintage themed room. These tree stumps help bring the outdoors indoors. They feel like those cheap storage bins you can get at Target, but these are sturdier. The lid of each stool has a plush padding inside-- it's great quality! I don't recommend sitting or standing on these, as another reviewer mentioned doing, because they're just going to break. We use them for toy storage. They're going to last a long time!
