I appreciated they sent it with some insulation and a cold pack. A bit wasteful but it would've been liquified if they had mailed without the extra precautions.

Arrived as a solid melted brick. Found out I can't return it. Opened customer service conversation based on Amazon policy. Reply from ORA: "So sorry it melted, ...we don't offer refunds, ...it still contains the nutrients... just chop it up". I pushed back, requesting a refund, they refused and closed the inquiry. Thank goodness Amazon stands behind their business model, as they issued a full refund on behalf of the business. This experience has been like ordering an awesomely promoted meal at a restaurant, paying $60+ for it, then arriving in a glass all blended up! Politely requesting a refund/replacement and then being told: Oh, your meal “still contains the nutrients intact for the purpose of it's drinking.” The company clearly does not stand behind its product, and relies on Amazon to bail them out. Won’t be going back…..

I loved the taste with coffee or milk, adding a little stevia. My experience was a very relaxing feeling after finishing the drink. Very happy to have found this product, delicious and healthy!!!

This Ceremonial Cacao comes beautifully packaged. The product itself comes in small disks that melt easily in the hot water. It was very bitter, but the cacao flavor itself was pretty good. The next time we drank this, we added a pinch of salt to it as that counteracts the bitterness. You still get the benefits that come from bitters in the diet, but the flavor is more pleasing. We did sweeten it with a bit of maple syrup, as well. What I do LOVE about this brand is that they carefully test for heavy metals and they list the theobromine content, as well as the caffeine content. They also list the amount of other important minerals such as magnesium. It is easy to know the vital nutrition and feel at ease that the product is not contaminated. The reason for the four stars instead of five stars is that the cacao leaves a rather acrid after-taste that leaves our mouths feeling dry and puckery--kind of like when you eat a banana that is far from ripe.

Really pure and pleasant product. I mix it with my Ryse mushroom coffee, and a touch of honey... Can't go wrong.

While the product is good if you add some sweetener and milk, the serving size is incorrect on the package photo. I purchased an 8 oz which on the photo shows that 8 discs is one serving and there are 20 servings per package. However, when I got the 8 oz bag, the serving size was 25 discs with only 10 servings per package! This means that technically you are getting one third the number of servings per container, though the package states 10 instead of 20. See attached photo. When I contacted the manufacturer to point out this discrepancy, the response simply said that there are 10 servings for the 8 oz bag and 20 for the 16 oz bag. They did not really read my message which pointed out the discrepancy with the photo they have on the Amazon web site. So, buyer beware that if you look at the photo and think you are going to get 20 servings, in fact you will get only 10.
