Good, basic kneeboard. Every pilot should have a spare in the airplane. No pockets, no lights, no iPad. Just a small board to support taking notes on a notepad. The included pen was crap, and the one clip isn’t sized to hold the pen! It got tossed day one. But the kneeboard? Good deal.

This kneeboard does exactly what I needed it to do for flight training. The aluminum construction feels sturdy without being too heavy, and the size is great for holding notes, checklists, frequencies, or flight planning information while flying. The elastic strap stays secure and keeps the kneeboard comfortably in place during use. I also like having the pen holder built in since it keeps everything together and easy to access quickly. The writing surface is smooth and works well for jotting down ATIS, clearances, or quick reminders. For the price, it feels surprisingly solid and a great value. It’s a simple product, but it makes staying organized in the cockpit much easier, especially for student pilots or anyone flying smaller aircraft.

This thing is super simple but very helpful. It has all the info you would need and has a pretty good build quality for the price.
