Ranger 55 Grip Onyx Black, Swiss Army Pocket Knife, Large, Multi Tool, Camping, 13 Functions, Blade, Can opener, Screwdriver 3 mm, Lockable Blade

Sadly I’ve just recieved this onyx black ranger and the main blade has a defect. Not what I expected from a Victorinox item! Had planned on giving it to my dad for his birthday tomorrow but because it needs returning I am not going to be turning up empty handed. Very disappointing

So, I love the Victornox Swiss Army collection of knives. I already own a Swiss Champ (that I've had for over 20 years), a One Hand Open Sentinel, the Swisstool Spirit X multitool, a Ranger Grip Multitool Pocket-Knife and a Rescue Tool (which I hope I'll never have to use). In other words, I love these knives for their utility. I also have knives from Spyderco, Kershaw and SOG. Quality knives are a priority for me. But there's another side of the Victorinox SAK story for me. Some of them are absolutely beautiful, literally works of art. I think my Red ALOX Hunter Pro is one of the most beautiful knives on the planet, from the richness of it's red ALOX scales to the way they treated the placement of the Cross & Shield sigil on the scales which appeals to the professional art director and graphic designer in me. A few weeks ago, I was on Amazon looking for some household stuff (I moved cities recently) and one of those "Amazon Suggests" things caught my eye. The long and short of it is I lost all control and hit "buy now" on the Victorinox Swiss Army Onyx Collection Spartan Pocket Knife because it was totally unexpected and, quite frankly looked beautiful. It still is both but I've never really loved the Spartan knives, they're a bit small in my larger hands. Then, a few days ago I saw the Onyx Collection Ranger Grip 55. It showed up today and I immediately tore the package open! Now I already have a Ranger series knife and I like it, it's very functional and the one hand open for the main blade is truly awesome — but this one is in the Onyx Collection and everything I love about the Onyx Spartan is increased by an order of magnitude. This knife is also a work of art — but more importantly, to me, it's also a knife that is functional and sized properly for me. I love the fact that the main blade locks (like the rest of the Ranger series) with a VERY solid channel style lock and also like the rest of the Ranger series knives, it's easy to release the lock to close the blade by simply pressing on the Cross & Shield on the grip. A truly functional and beautiful knife! I probably won't be taking it on camping trips or out in rough areas because it's so gorgeous (and because I have another Ranger series knife), but I love having it in my collection!

オールブラックでとにかくカッコよく所有感を満たしてくれます。 ソロキャンプではあまり凝ったことはしないのでコレだけで済んでしまっています。 iQOS ILUMAのタバコ中折れ問題はキャンプで致命的ですが、ツースピックやピンセットがジャストサイズなのでサクッと取り出せて重宝しています笑

Das Messer kommt in einer schönen Box und sieht einfach nur toll aus. Die Taschenmesser sind für ihre gute Qualität bekannt. Das Messer ist angenehm groß und liegt gut in der Hand.
