great price and great pump.
Took 1 1/2 hours to install. Used my old fitting as the one sent do not fit...The pump is quiet and does the job.. the retail on the suggested replacement for mine as the original was discontinued was $750.00 this is great.

Easy replacement
Perfect replacement for jetted tub

Good so far.
Used this to replace an old pump on a jetted tub. Works well after install. It does not have an air start attached . You will need to install one. Not hard to do but you will need to be a little handy if you order this.

"WAS" as Good as it gets
UPDATE,,, Came quick, works great.. UPDATE,,, worked great for a month, cycles off and then would not restart, had to move impeller to get it restart, was not stuck or plugged, fails to restart couple times a week.. No response from seller,,,, not so "5 stars" any more...

Not standard USA dimension couplings. You will have to buy them from another source.
Couplings do not fit standard USA PVC pipe dimensions. You will have to buy them from another source. Additionally, wattage rating is well under spec and suction is underwhelming for HP rating. I notified Amazon about this months ago and they still haven't fixed it.

Better than the original
I bought the 1 HP as a replacement for a broken spa pump. The original was no longer being manufactured, and direct replacements were $250-300, so I figured I'd try this one instead, expecting some extra work with the plumbing. However, all the plumbing parts fit - all I had to do was bolt a piece of wood underneath, since the mounts were lower than the original. This pump is extremely quiet - at least compared to the original - I have to be standing right next to the spa to hear anything at all. So far I am very happy with this purchase.

Hit or miss... first leaked, second had bent bracket
Edit: Amazon replaced the first pump. This second one hasn’t leaked. We are still only giving 3 stars since this one also has a bent bottom bracket. We aren’t mounting the motor, so this isn’t an issue for us, but still would have liked better quality. Original Review: Would not buy again. The pipe fittings as mentioned on the other reviews did not give us an issue. However, it appears that the seal for the impeller is dry rotted as the pump leaks water at the seal. However, if the seal did not leak I would have no issues with the pump.
