Great Quality Generator
After researching several generators, I decided to give the ERAYAK 4500W Dual Fuel Inverter Generator a try, and Iโm glad I did. My first impression was that it felt much more solid and well-made than I expected for the price. Everything was packed neatly, and it even came with useful accessories like the propane hose, funnel, tools, and a detailed manual. Setup was straightforward and took less than 15 minutes. I mainly bought it as a backup power source for outages, but I also wanted something versatile enough for outdoor use. The dual-fuel feature was a major selling point, and being able to switch between gasoline and propane gives me extra peace of mind during emergencies. What impressed me most was how easy it was to start. It fired up quickly and ran smoothly right away. The noise level is also very reasonable. Itโs not silent, but itโs much quieter than the conventional generators Iโve owned in the past. I could comfortably hold a conversation standing nearby without having to raise my voice. Performance has been excellent so far. During testing, it handled my refrigerator, internet equipment, lights, phone chargers, and a few small appliances without any issues. I also like knowing that the inverter technology provides clean power for electronics, so I donโt have to worry about damaging sensitive devices. Overall, this generator feels like a quality product that offers a lot of value for the money. Itโs easy to use, reliable, fuel-efficient, and gives me confidence that Iโll have power when I need it most. So far, it has exceeded my expectations, and I wouldnโt hesitate to recommend it to friends and family looking for a dependable backup generator.

Well worth every penny, saved me in 2 power outages during the storm
I bought the Erayak 4500 generator a little over three months ago mainly as a backup power source for storms and camping trips, and honestly it has been much better than I expected for the price. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to set up. It came mostly ready to go, and within about 15 minutes I had it running without any issues. What impressed me most is how surprisingly quiet it is compared to older generators Iโve owned. Itโs obviously not silent, but the noise level is low enough that you can still have a conversation nearby without shouting. Iโve used it during a power outage to run a refrigerator, lights, fans, Wi-Fi router, and even charge multiple phones at the same time without problems. The fuel efficiency has also been solid. I expected to burn through gas quickly, but it actually lasted most of the night during one outage while powering essentials. The build quality feels sturdy and not cheap or flimsy like some generators in this price range. One thing I would improve is the wheel kit. It works fine, but moving it around on rough ground can still be a little awkward because of the weight. Other than that, I really donโt have many complaints. Overall, I think the Erayak 4500 is a dependable generator for home backup, camping, or emergency use. For the money, it offers a really good balance of power, portability, and reliability.

Good for camping like having a TV on with static noise!
Provides great power but quite loud when you buy this it will not start until you add oil. Size is hand held but still quite heavy maybe 40-55lbs. Fuel works great on propane or gas. Easy to use if you understand that you should read the Manuel or understand my comment of adding oil. One pull to starting time maybe 5minutes setup (with oil) ( to be honest didn't read the Manuel but it's very self explaining) if it don't start add oil(kinda like sling blade) "ain't got no oil in it" when ya buy it.

Worked at home, failed on the first day of our holiday, eventually, I got a full refund.
Our intent was to use this generator exclusively on propane, and we needed it to run an efficient (modern) 12,000 BTU air conditioner. When it arrived, we tested it immediately and although the idle on propane was a bit rough, this was not unexpected. The air conditioner worked fine on a crazy-hot day, so I left it running for 4 hours. I did overload it a couple of times to see if could handle the a/c and other items, and it overloaded, but it was a quick reset/re-start after removing the load. On August 30th, we took off on our 12-day holiday (where we would need to generator 5 of the 12 days) and it overloaded the first time we tried the a/c. After that, the engine speed would not adjust under ANY load, and we haven't even been able to make coffee. Thankfully, it provides enough power at low-idle to recharge the RV battery, run the TV, and a couple of lights, but we could have done that with a $200 whisper-quiet generator. Update: September 26th First, the vendor promise a full refund. The refund never came. Then they wanted to send me a video link to see if a simple fix would work. I replied with my complete email address, got an unidentifiable phone call that looked like spam which went to my voicemail and they asked me for my email address again, so I called them back and went directly to voicemail and left my email address again. Now, twice back and forth, still no video link. Update: October 1st After not hearing from the technical people about a video link, I sent an email back to vendor, requesting the full refund. The refund was processed within 30 minutes

This generator has given me peace of mind!!
I purchased this generator because I wanted a reliable backup power source for my home and also something I could use for outdoor activities, and so far, it has worked very well. I really like that it is dual-fuel, allowing, to use either gasoline or propane depending on what I have available, which make it more convenient. stating it was simple, and the noise level is quite reasonable for a generator of this side. I have used it to power several devices at the same time without any issues. Also is relatively portable and easy to move around. Another feature that impressed me is the overall build quality of the generator, It feels sturdy, well-made, and designed to withstand regular use in different environments. The controls are easy to understand even for someone who is not very experienced with generators, and the maintenance requirements appear straightforward. I also appreciate the flexibility it provides when planning trips or preparing for emergencies. Knowing that I have a reliable source of power available gives me added confidence and convenience. After using it multiple times, I can say that it has consistently performed as expected and has proven to be a worthwhile investment for both everyday preparedness and recreational activities. This generator has given me peace of mind during storms and unexpected outages. It is reassuring to know that I have a dependable source of power available when I need it most. The quality, convenience, and performance have exceeded my expectations. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and believe it offers excellent value for money. I would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, dependable, and easy-to-use generator for home backup, travel, camping, or recreational use.

Works great for off grid camper power
I Used this generator for the first time this weekend powering my RV and Iโm really happy with it so far. I replaced another inverter generator because that one only had 15 amp outlets and it was honestly kind of annoying to use with the camper. This one is way more RV friendly and feels like a big upgrade already. Setup was super easy. I added the oil, put fuel in it, and it was basically ready to go. It actually started on the very first pull, which surprised me because most small engines Iโve owned usually take a few tries the first time. Once it was running, it handled everything in the RV without any problems. Lights, chargers, microwave, and AC all worked great. Another thing I noticed right away is how solid and well built it feels. The casing feels durable and the covered outlets make it seem a lot more weather resistant than cheaper generators Iโve seen before. It seems to be completely covered and easy to transport with the handle on top Itโs also quieter than I expected, especially compared to older generators at campgrounds. You can actually have a conversation around it without yelling. The dual fuel option is also nice to have for flexibility later on. Overall Iโm really impressed with it after the first trip. Easy setup, started first pull, powered the RV great, and feels like something thatโll last a long time. It also has a lot more power than the last one I had and is somehow the same size which is great for moving it around. It came with everything you need except the oil, but did come with an extra spark plug and tool for it along with a funnel and the propane hookup

Very nice generator
I already love this generator. Followed the guide and it started on the second pull. Fires right up and runs very smooth. The weight is not too heavy as I can carry it around by myself. I love that it has dual fuel options but I only ran it off of gas as of now. I am really looking forward to using this with my camper which has propane also. The versatility of this generator is great because I can take it anywhere to run what I need. I was already using it to run a saw which had no problems at all. The noise isn't too bad either and shouldn't bother anyone. This is definitely a winner for a backup generator for my house and for camping. I also like that I can use this in parallel to another generator to make more power. This generator relieves alot of stress of when power goes out at my home knowing that I have something to run my hot water heater and keep my freezers running so we have hot water and cold food. I was little scared after reading some reviews of it not starting or running really rough but it started perfect and idle perfectly. It kicked on under load from my saw and ran with no problems.

Works as well as described
Been watching James Condon's videos for a while, and, I suppose impulse bought this because it ticked the boxes that I have been thinking about and I was impressed with how it performed. Clean sine wave inverter, good capacity, can run in parallel if needed, and for me, dual fuel (propane and gasoline). No natural gas in my area, so I won't use that. Admittedly I haven't put it to much work yet, but I have been running it for break-in on both gasoline and propane. It starts on the second or third pull for me. It does auto-switch between the two fuels as described, stumbling slightly but not stalling out. I did notice the red propane light only partially lighting up when I slowly cracked the propane valve, but when I shut it off, paused, and then opened it quickly, the red light lit up bright. I did the first oil change after 1-1/2 hours of running, and there was some fine glitter in the oil, but nothing that concerns me yet. I'm running 15W-40 in it. Overall, it seems like a good unit, but there are a couple of things worth mentioning. For one, the sticker on the side says 450mL oil, the manual says 0.6L of oil, and I ended up adding 650mL to get halfway up the dipstick. 450mL barely wet the tip of the dipstick. Also, the Phillips-head gas bowl drain screw is blocked by the side support bar. It looks like it'll be tricky to drain the bowl. Update: Not really tricky, but use a flatblade instead, Phillips didn't catch very well. Draining the bowl does get a few teaspoons of gas out. But the unit runs very smooth, is not noisy (I wouldn't say it's quiet, but it's not annoying), it holds voltage and frequency well (~122V at 59.97Hz is what I was seeing with 1000W of load), and the wheeled dolly addition makes it easy to move around. I'm pleased with it so far. I'm feeding it non-ethanol gasoline but am going to invest in a couple more containers of propane for longer term storage. This will be an emergency generator for me. Here in Texas we need all the backup power we can get.

Really liking this gen
having the ability to run 2 fuel sources is a game changer running on gas noise level is not bad , running on propane noise level is reduced the run time on gas is better but i find hooking up the propane and running that way cut's down on the fact the with gas you may have a tendancy to spill it . I picked up a 25' 30 amp plug and got a pass through to have power go right into my home as back up power during blackouts mine is not hooked up the the house power but does what i need it to do.

Good Generator
This is a decent little generator. Easy to handle and carry around. Powerful to keep my travel trailer running when needed. Looking forward to using it. I recommend it.

This small-footprint and lightweight machine delivers amazing power!
This small-footprint machine delivers amazing power! Works perfectly on gas and LP. I have not yet tried it with natural gas. Start with the first pull on gasoline. It did not start on propane (LP) before I added gasoline to the tank. I had to start it on gasoline, then it switched to running on propane after opening the LP bottle valve. I'm not sure if this is a design feature or a fault??

Can't get it to start and no response from customer support
Cannot get it started with either propane or gasoline. Left a message with their customer support 5 days ago and no response. I filed the return form with Amazon and no response from them either. I am taking the position that as it would never start that this generator was not of merchantable quality and therefore under the BC Sale of Goods Act I rescind the sale and require a full refund. I believe all Canadian provinces have a Sale of Goods Act and that cannot be contracted out of regardless of what is said in the description about not returnable.

4500 Generator
The generator is one of those items you may not use as soon as you get it. inspecting the unit after arrival it appears nicely designed, and nice features as advertised. However expected it to be ready to use, it requires oil, which was expected but was not supplied. One down side to the design is the side cover, which is screwed on, has to be removed to check the oil, and no screw driver in tool kit. The price seemed reasonable for a dual fuel unit, compared to other brands.
