At an apple festival, I had a green apple lemonade. It was delicious!! Tangy with a touch of sweetness and a bit of sour. So I went in search of some green apple syrup to make my own.I bought the Monin brand and it was full of flavor and color. However, it required refrigeration and had a fairly short shelf life, so I tried this brand.I got a bottle each of the blackberry and the green apple. I love that it came with the dispenser tops and that it doesn't require refrigeration. But that's it.There is very little flavor even if you add a lot. What flavor is there, just doesn't taste like green apple - it's a chemically taste.The color is not there either. It is just flat.The only pros are that it mixes easily and it doesn't need refrigeration. But if you want to add that green apple (or blackberry) taste to your drinks or ice cream, buy the Monin - you won't regret it.Now I have to drink lemonade with yellow sugar added instead of green apple lemonade...
