I ordered this for my father in law. I was not able to take photos. Though I did see that it was packaged for safe arrival. I waited to put in my review as I saw a lot of reviews about the time frame of working. It must be pretty easy to install and working great as my father in law is a grizzly bear about such things and so far he's been teddy bear about it all. I did my homework on the brand and cost prior to ordering as I know how he gets.

This is a good heater, and hope it will give me several years of good service. I give a 4 star rating for the reason, that I have only used it for a short time. Shipping was very quick.

having a heater for your waterbed is crucial for comfort in the winter months, so getting it in and installed as soon as possible was very important. We got the product earlier than expected and so far it works great! It was a nice benefit to have the chemical for the bed as well since we had to drain the bed to setup the heater. very satisfied!!!

We purchased this same brand before. I was surprised that it didn't last but a couple of years. Hoping it was defective and this one will last longer.

I had my previous heater for 30 years, and it worked without fail -- ever -- not once. Then I replaced the whole setup, including the heater to my everlasting regret, replacing it with this unit, which has now failed twice, leaving me chilled to the bone. Both times the light was on, the unit was plugged in, and only waking up thoroughly chilled made me realize it was not working. The first time it failed, I finally unplugged everything and then plugged everything in again, which apparently worked. After the first time, I obsessively checked the unit to make sure the connections were not loose, but that was not enough. Apparently the contacts are less than solid, so while it pulls electricity at least for the LED indicator, it simply does not heat for no good reason. So I again awoke chilled to the bone. Unplugging the cord to the heating element and then plugging it back in seems to have worked, as the thermostat indicates it's slowly heating back up -- we'll see. But the contacts are clearly anything but solid, and I greatly rue having purchased this unit. I note that all of the others now seem to have plug-in heating elements, which means they could well have the same contact problems, and I'm at a loss to come up with a solid, dependable heater like the one I once had and then threw away.....arrrgghhhh!!!.

Restored heat to our water bed. If you've ever slept in a cold water bed, you'll understand why that's important. It's a bit of a pain to install since you have to partially drain the bed but it's well worth it.

It works reliably and controls temperature uniformly. I’ve only had it for a few months, but so far so good.
