Great set for water aerobics. I use the dumbbells more than anything else, and they add great resistance for the workout. The swim belt is good quality, but I don't see a huge difference in my workout from the belt. There's nothing wrong with it, so I didn't deduct any stars. I just don't fit it is overly useful for me. But if you specifically want a belt, this is a good one. The training pull buoy is a good quality and works well for upper arm development in the pool. I got mine at the end of the season to save a few dollars, so I only got about 6 weeks of use out of it before it got too cold for water aerobics and swimming. I can't wait for next summer to use the dumbbells and buoy again!

Exactly what i wanted

This is a great, complete set. I both practice and teach aquatic physical therapy, as well as being a swim instructor at my local Y. These are the same quality as the equipment we use there. I love how adjustable the belt is (though you need to fiddle a bit to find a comfortable way to tuck in the excess so it doesn't rub your skin.), so I can give it to any of my students. The handle space on the barbells is enough to accommodate even large hands, and not too thick for small hands. The buoyancy of all the equipment is about right for medium resistance, so I wouldn't give these to beginners. For my own use, they're good for upping a normal workout maybe one level; they're not for full bore training. Love that swim gloves are included, they're hard to find! The instructions for a variety of exercises is pretty good, some I had forgotten about. This is a really good value, considering everything you get and the quality. You could get similar items at a discount retailer, but they wouldn't be this quality.

Absolutely love these. Just like the ones I use in aqua therapy. Easy to grip. Easy to use. Not too much resistance but enough to have an effective work out. Its a decent value but some of this stuff could be found for cheaper elsewhere. I would still recommend.

Hello, Amazon Shoppers! Gotta admit it. I couldn’t wait to test this out at the HOA pool in my community. Gonna cut to the chase for how and/or why I highly recommend this set💪😎: ✅Wow, the dumbbells really offer actual resistance! I was so surprised when I used the weight belt to try downward tricep extensions. After a set of 12, I was ready to take a set break, before starting my next set of reps. Also pleased that I could do bent arm bicep curls while using the weight belt as well. Sorta a minus here: Wish the dumbbell set had straps. Would be so much easier to wrap the straps around wrist, while adjusting swim belt, as addressed next …. ❎Weight belt stays snug on dry land. Moves up more and more, requiring adjustments while using in deep water. Water resistance is a powerful force, so I find this less a deficit of the product and more of Mother Nature reminding me who’s boss 😉 ✅The leg insert really helps you get an arm workout while swimming front crawl or breaststroke. Even butterfly and back stroke, which are much harder to do without kicking. Great exercise, indeed ✅Products drip dry quite quickly. Granted, they still had moisture when I left the pool, but theclimate here is autumn now. So in summer, I’ll expect these to dry out faster still. ✅Great to have a drawstring bag to tote contents. Very convenient. In short, these are not pool toys but, rather, actual fitness devices to help anyone, who can’t work out on land, still find ways to stay in shape. This will help me combine recreation with purpose. I’m excited to own this set, and enjoyed the work out I got from everything it includes. 💪😎Highly recommend esp for anyone who knows they can’t become a gym rat. I have a nice 18 foot round pool tucked into the patio area of my home. Nice and cozy! I'm a plus sized guy, and I swim and exercise in the pool. It's easier on my arthritic joints to exercise in the pool. I've been looking for something to step up the level of my exercises. And I FOUND it! This combo set has all the essential tools you need for aquatic exercise. It has an exercise belt, a pair of rather large dumbells, and a pull buoy. It comes with a waterproof card detailing 15 exercises you can perform with these tools. For each exercise there is a video created by a past Olympic swimmer showing you haw to properly do each exercise. When I first saw this set, I thought these things would absorb water, making them heavy for workouts. Nope... They are waterproof! They work by having you fight against the water for maximum benefits. This is pretty much just what I was looking for! A better workout to help trim my large form down to a better size, and without damaging my arthritic old joints! I LOVE IT!

I have to admit that I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this one - I only knew that I had promised my health coach to try to get more active after a period that had taken its toll on my body. The apartment complex that I live in has an indoor pool, so these seemed a fun choice for that, especially since I was looking for no-impact whole body exercise. I probably got more fun than I had bargained for. The set is lightweight, but it looks to be very good quality, and, well, using it is more challenging than I would want to admit. Some of the neighbors here might have had more fun looking at me than me actually using them at the beginning, but after a learning curve, they can be a very fun challenge. I see using them long-term as a complement to other exercise forms - they do offer a good workout, and there is a good fun factor to them. I think they are going to last for a while, so if you think you are up for such a type of exercise (it can be both awkward and challenging) they may be a good choice.

They work well for exercising in the pool. The water weight is good, the swim belt is a bit uncomfortable for long periods of time and the leg wedge thing I've not really mastered yet. I like that there is a carry bag for these articles and also videos online to show you how to use all of these. They do help me get a better workout in the pool
