Wow—these really work. Before using these inflatable solar pool covers, my pool heater had to run nearly all day just to get the water up to my target temperature of 88°F. Since adding these to the pool at night, they do an excellent job of keeping the heat in as temperatures drop. Now my heater only needs to run for a few hours each morning to bring the pool back up to temp, and after that, the sun plus these covers take care of the rest. The difference in heat retention is immediate and obvious. If you’re trying to reduce heater run time, energy costs, or wear and tear on your pool equipment, these make a big impact—especially when used in combination with a pool heater pump. My only downside was that 2 of the 12 covers I received would not hold air right out of the box. That said, the manufacturer handled it perfectly. I contacted them and they sent two replacement covers at no charge, which says a lot about their customer service and willingness to stand behind the product. The covers also come with vinyl repair patches, which is a nice bonus in case you accidentally puncture one yourself. Overall, these are highly effective, well thought out, and an excellent value. I’d strongly recommend them to anyone looking to keep pool water warm longer and cut down on heater usage.

3/12 of this order had holes within the seams. We attempted patching but because it’s in the seams they still don’t hold air. I wouldn’t buy this product again

Easy to inflate and designed well. I would order 6 more but it takes too long to deliver and my pool will be closed by then. If they keep working well I’ll get more next season!

Being in AZ we can take average of the pool much longer than we ever could in living MA. Having those people (family) refusing to move, they pay visit. These freeloaders come down and expect the pool to be on and heated, 3 square meals, beverages and snacks 24 x 7. They are courtesy enough to tell me when provisions are running low. A few days before their arrival the pool heater wouldn’t power on. In a mad scramble a larger company gave us a referral. This gentleman came out and made the repairs. He recommended this product. These heaters complimented the pool heater nicely. With air temperature ranging from 48 to 80, it usually takes 6 days for the pool to go from the 60’s to the low 80’s. The pool is 12x24 roughly 5000 gallons. In under 3 days, 6 floaties the pool went from 64 to 87 degrees. The heater usage was about 13 hours once the pool reached 85° as opposed to 22-24 hours a day without the floaties. Using a shop vac these inflated in under 5 seconds. Great product highly recommended.
