It’s been working for about a month now without a hitch. The wires are smaller than the ones from my old fan that I hooked. Also, be careful when you tighten up the mounting bolts. They must be the cheapest deal in the entire world. Very easy to strip, so don’t torque them very much at all. I stripped one and was able to use a different nut to get it to work securely and was extra careful on the other three. It comes with a capacitor, but it was different than mine, which has two capacitors so I did not install it. Is working great and a lot cheaper than the $1200. I was quoted by the HVAC company for the same job. Take lots of pictures before you unhook the old one from all angles to make sure you know where the wires go.

Bought this condenser fan motor as a replacement, and it worked like a champ! 🔧❄️ The motor was exactly what I needed, fit properly, and got everything back up and running without any unnecessary drama—which is exactly what you want when your AC decides to quit cooperating. 😂 Installation was straightforward, and once it was in, the system was back to doing what it’s supposed to do: keeping the house cool instead of testing my patience. 😅 Great replacement, good performance, and definitely happy with the purchase.

I understand the concerns in some reviews about the motor using a smaller-gauge wire, but don’t let that fool you. The OEM uses an overkill 14–16 AWG wire, which really isn’t necessary for a motor that draws no more than 1.1A at peak at 220VAC. The 18 AWG wire on this motor is more than adequate for safe operation. My only challenge was finding a dual-run/start 6 µF capacitor, especially since my original capacitor had also failed. If your capacitor is fine, you will need to wire it differently to make the motor cap work without any damage. Once installed, this fan has been running pretty much all day throughout the summer with no issues or signs of failure. It’s also "very quiet". So far, I’m very happy with the performance and would definitely recommend it. Lastly, IT DOES COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS!!! It is on the motor itself. If you do not know how to read wiring diagrams, then you shouldn't be DIY this! If the fan fails, I will update this review to alert all potential buyers.

I mean as of now it works great and fixed my problem. Now if you don't know what you're doing be careful. There are 0 instrutions. That's why it's only a 4 star but I guess they assume you know what you're doing but we all know what assuming make us. Hope this helps.

I purchased this item May 27, 2025. I installed it upon receipt and DID NOT run the AC unit until November, only to find that the fan motor SEIZED without EVER having been used. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!! Unfortunately I did not discover this flawed item until well past the return period. I might as well have set the money on fire.
