2K Wireless Smart Video Doorbell w/Chime, 160° Ultra-Wide View, D210

Very nice doorbell where you don't have doorbell wiring. Extremely easy to install; pretty easy to remove and charge the battery. Installed a memory chip for picture/video storage -- took about 5 seconds to install the memory. Camera images are not super high resolution but are pretty good (see image I just took from the doorbell). We are away from this home about 6 months at a time each year and just charge the battery right before we leave. We don't use the motion detection but we get an immediate phone call when someone rings the bell. The battery drains very slowly in this mode and based on testing thus far, it should easily be good for 6 months. We tried using the motion detection when we are there but too much feedback. There are options on this doorbell that would work better to detect people, but we don't really need it. Good enough to ring the bell in the house and ring our cell phones - we just turn on the camera on the phone, and can see who it is and talk to them. This works great when we are away and when we are in. When in, we are frequently down at our dock -- and can answer the doorbell from there. If you want motion detection engaged and want to record video while motion detection is active, you can do that but the battery won't last a long time. They do have a slightly more expensive model with all the features of this unit with a higher res camera that connects to doorbell wiring if you want to record that. I absolutely hate all of the subscription BS every vendor on earth is trying to get you to buy. We can avoid it with this doorbell which more than meets our needs. I would definitely buy this again!

set up and installation it was super easy, images are very clear, motion detection, zoom blew up my head because even far away I can see people faces, I have peace of mind because it doesn’t matter where I am, I receive notifications right away of what’s happening in my house and who is in front of my door and I can talk with them, my family feel safe, quality is good and for the price? …no way. I highly recommend.

EXTREMELY impressed with this doorbell camera!!!! The picture quality is great, was very easy to set up/install, and the app is very easy to navigate. I attached a picture of the camera quality just to show how great it is, especially for the price!! There is also no required subscription to see the live motion. The subscription to have the video memory is also a very reasonable price in comparison to other doorbell options! Very nice camera for an amazing price!

This smart video doorbell has all the bells and whistles of any top brand out there. It’s affordable and the quality is great. It was very easy to set up, the instructions were easy to follow. It detects different motions, such as people, pets, ect. You can change the settings if you want to eliminate certain detections which I appreciate. The range is just right and the night vision is great. We have been using it for 6 months and I have noticed the battery drains faster when I have all the detections on. (Usually when I am away from home) when I am home I change the settings. It comes with a usb to recharge and it easily clicks back in and out for easy charging. I give it a 4 stars as I wish it would hold its charge a little longer. So far I have had to charge it once every 1-2 months.

I bought this as a Resale item, marked Used/Mint. This is almost true! The only non-mint condition thing was that the 3m sticky tape to attach it to the wall was already attached to the wedge. Luckily, I wanted to use it with the wedge, so this didn't cause me any trouble. Set up was easy with the Tapo app on my iPhone. I charged the doorbell overnight, so I don't know exactly how long it took to charge. I'd assume that overnight is usually a good amount of time to allow even if it takes slightly less to actually charge. The video quality seems excellent so far as is the field of view. As you can see, it covers my entire porch. I don't have a photo of the night vision mode here, but it looks good when I test it. We will see how long I have to wait before needing to charge again, but so far I'm happy with this doorbell. It replaced an old Ring which had very low battery life and poor image quality. This seems much better!

I have 2 of these; one for my front door and one for the back door. They work great, and they look nice too. The video quality is good. I don't think I've ever had it drop to a point that I couldn't make out a face or anything like that. Sound quality is pretty good, though it can be a bit delayed or a little "fuzzy" sounding when you're on a 2-way call. It's not a big deal though - you can still understand what is being said, it just takes some getting used to having to pausing a bit to let the audio catch up. The app is straightforward and easy to navigate with little to no lag. The motion detection works very well. You can have detection modes off, have certain areas in the cameras view set for motion, car or person detection, or let the entire camera view alert you. It has alerted to motion, cars and people without issue. Only a few times has it thought something was a person, but after looking back, I actually could see how. We had some stuff stacked outside that, once it got dark enough, looked like the outline of a person. But I'd rather get the occasional false alarm than miss a real one. Cameras have survived months of winter snow and winds so far without problems, so I'd say they're pretty durable. Battery life is good; I just now charged the camera that has the most alerts/motion, and I put these up at least 3 months ago. Of course, that is something that depends heavily on your settings. It's nice to have these, especially if you're someone who gets a lot of deliveries - makes the house feel a bit more secure. Overall - I'd highly recommend these. For the price, you're getting a great camera, with a great app, and if you ever expand into the other cameras or products from Tapo, you're getting a great ecosystem altogether.

The 2K video is crystal clear, the app is intuitive, and not having to mess with existing doorbell wiring made the installation a breeze. ​The biggest standout for me, though, is the battery. Wireless outdoor cameras usually struggle and drain incredibly fast when the temperature drops, but the battery life on this unit held up incredibly well through a freezing Ohio winter. I didn't have to constantly pull the doorbell down to recharge it in the cold, which is a massive plus for a wireless setup. ​If you need a reliable, high-quality video doorbell that can actually handle harsh winter weather without dying every week, this is a fantastic choice!

Muy buen timbre con una cámara para ver de extraordinaria calidad y clarisima resolución para dia y noche. Es preferible dejarla en modo timbre para que la bateria dure sino se descarga en modo detección super rápido. También bajar a 1 o máximo 2 el nivel de detección en modo timbre ya que si esta en modo ahorro no permite mas de esos 2 niveles. Funciona de manera excelente y las notificaciones son inmediatas. Tiene varias funciones para programar y configurar siendo una de las virtudes de lo que manejan las cámaras tapo y el timbre tiene diferentes sonidos y niveles de audio ademas del video y la interación con quien toca. Muy buen dispositivo. Muy recomendable es fácil y rápido de configurar. Trae un kit de instalación super completo por si no desea uno perforar solo con los adhesivos que trae.

I bought the TP-Link Tapo D210 mainly because I wanted a reliable doorbell camera better than I one i had before. I chose a solution that didn’t force me into a monthly subscription, and so far it’s been a great decision. My main goal was to clearly see who’s at the door and keep an eye on packages, and the 2K video quality really delivers. The picture is sharp enough to recognize faces easily, and the wide head-to-toe view means I can see everything from visitors’ faces down to packages left on the ground, which a lot of other doorbells miss. What surprised me the most was how well it works at night. The spotlight turns on when motion is detected and gives full-color night vision instead of the usual black-and-white footage. This makes a big difference when trying to identify people or see details in low light, and it also feels like an added deterrent. I like that the spotlight brightness can be adjusted so it’s not overly harsh. Notifications have been very accurate. The free person detection actually works and cuts down on false alerts from random movement, which was something I worried about before buying. I also really like the Ring Call feature — getting a call-style alert makes it much harder to miss someone at the door, and answering is quick and easy without having to open the app. Battery life has been solid. I didn’t want to deal with frequent charging, and the battery lasts a long time even with regular motion alerts. Installation was straightforward, and the angled wedge helped a lot since my door isn’t perfectly straight. Two-way audio is clear enough to have a proper conversation, and the quick response messages are handy when I’m busy or not home. The fact that it supports local storage with a microSD card was one of the biggest reasons I chose this doorbell. I like knowing my videos are stored locally without paying a subscription, while still having the option for cloud storage if I ever need it. It also works well with Alexa and Google Assistant, which is a nice bonus. Overall, this doorbell does exactly what I wanted it to do — clear video, smart alerts, good battery life, and no forced monthly fees. It feels reliable and well thought out, and for the price, it offers a lot of value. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a practical, no-nonsense smart doorbell that just works.
