Works well, and the price is right.
We have a small TV in the bedroom which only has a single HDMI input. This wasn't a problem at first because all that was connected to it was an U-Verse receiver, but over the last couple of years we've added a DVD player and an Apple TV to the room. Tired of moving the HDMI cable to the correct device, I decided to find an inexpensive switch that would do the job for me. I figured at $10 I couldn't be too disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised instead. This product works well and the remote control is an added bonus. Powering the switch isn't required as it pulls power from the attached HDMI devices. Powering on a device automatically triggers the switch to activate the connected port. If I ever need another HDMI switch I will definitely buy this one again.

Good, but has its annoyances.
First couple of days it worked great. Doesn't come with a 5v cable, but doesn't require it due to it being powered by a HDMI device when it is turned on. But now it will constantly switch signals out of no where, requiring me to turn it back onto the signal I was on. It's starting to get really annoying. I guess this is what you should expect for a $10 switch. EDIT: Realized it was my Wii U coming on for automatic updates that kept having the switch turn to it while I was on a different device. Turned that off and I haven't had any issues with this. I luckily had a 5V cable available and use it to avoid having to force the HDMI slot to power it. Keeping it 4/5 because it doesn't come with a 5V cable.

Cheap & Nearly Useless
The switch did not send any video output. Tried with laptop, Chromecast 2, and Wii U outputting to a Vizio TV & then a monitor to verify. I could get sound to work, but only had a blank screen. Even the remote did not work. The build quality feels very cheap and in the description they say "Avoid frequent plugging or unplugging of HDMI cables which also wears out your precious HDMI connector" which only strengthens that impression. I am returning my device & will not be purchasing from this seller again.

Seamless automatic switching works GREAT!!
We used this to simplify the wiring with our HD TV. Using just HDMI cables, we have the DVR (2), PC (1) and ROKU (3) box coming into the TV's HDMI input. The automatic priority switching (1-2-3 inputs) just works seamlessly when you power on a higher priority device. When you power down a higher priority input, we do occasionally need to grab the remote and switch to another input, but the remote switch happens quickly so it's no big deal. This comes with a power adapter but have not had to use it. Hope there is a four input switch from this manufacturer when we might expand our config in the future.

the remote is the most useless remote I have ever seen whilst still technically being ...
It does what it's supposed to. However, the remote is the most useless remote I have ever seen whilst still technically being functional. You have to be about 18 inches away from the IR receiver for it to work. And if you're that close, you really can just press the button. So that's a slight annoyance, but the switch itself works fine with solid picture quality on all channels.

Does not work with PS4 by itself
So i got this device today and i plugged it in so i can swap between ps4 and xbox one. PS4 does not work, just flashes a blue light on the device the whole time its plugged in and turned on. I tried it by itself at first, I then plugged my xbox one in with it and turned it on at the same time as the ps4. It swapped to xbox one, worked perfect and i was able to select PS4 and it would work. But soon as i turned my Xbox off and swapped to PS4 alone without the xbox on, the light just flashes. Im guessing it needs more power in order to work with ps4 and seeing as it didnt come with a cord, its useless.

Switch works, remote does not
It does exactly what it's supposed to do, which is switch between inputs for your computer monitor. Unfortunately, the remote (which I don't really need) does not work. One nice little feature is that if all your inputs are off and you turn one on, it automatically switches to that input.

Fantastic price, works great!
Wow! I always love inexpensive and effective accessories. The EnjoyGadgets 3-Port HDMI Switch does exactly what it says it will at a really cheap price. I did not need an external power supply, power is supplied from the attached HDMI devices. There are no cables so make sure you plan accordingly, after revamping my AV system last year, I had several spare HDMI cables around. You will require one HDMI cable from the Switch to the monitor/TV/etc and one cable from each device to the switch. I've attached this to a Samsung LED monitor to attach my desktop, laptop and Chromebook. The Chromebook was more because I could but this allows me to have one station where I do all my work, plug in one cable to my laptop and Chromebook and I can use my 27" monitor for whatever I need to.

Exceeded expectations by a leap
Based on the price, I expected this thing to be junk. It's NOT. Knowing I was about to get a PS4, and that I was out of HDMI ports on my TV, I ordered this switch because it was cheap enough for a roll of the dice. I'm using it to connect my Apple TV and a gaming PC to my television. I've not tried using any HDCP devices with it. Once I switch to the source it's plugged into, I'll turn on one of those boxes, and the box will automatically switch to whatever turned on. If I'm watching Apple TV, or just leaving it idle to go to sleep, and I turn the PC on, it automatically switches to the PC. I guess as soon as it detects something coming out of a source, it jumps to it. I'm totally okay with that and think it's great, but I imagine someone might not be. The included remote and IR sensor work perfectly. I just wish I remembered which ports were in use by what, because if everything's on and we're trying to switch between sources, we usually just end up jamming on all the buttons. If I had one complaint about this product, it's that the always-on LED light is incredibly bright. I've got it covered with cloth tape, so I don't notice it anymore, but on our first night with it, our living room was completely illuminated blue. It was quite a sight. I remember looking into buying something like this when I bought an HDTV in 2008, and I couldn't find anything cheaper than $200. This little magic box is my dreams come true. Without it, I'd have had to kick my Wii U down to component cables, and that would have been a crime.

Gets the job done
This low cost device is very handy for those whose Hi Def TVs are configured with insufficient HDMI inputs. I have three devices (DVR, BluRay player, and Apple TV) and only two inputs. The switcher gets around this nicely. In fact, it eliminates one problem that always driven me crazy - my technically challenged wife could never seem to remember how to switch inputs through the remote control, because it required correctly using a multifunction remote (yes, I know that a smart universal remote might address this, but I'm sure she would find a way to screw that up as well). With the port switcher, these is no more confusion about which function to use or which port is in use - it is right there in front of you. The switcher works well for the most part. The automatic switching function gets confused by the standby mode of some devices, so we can't completely rely on that. Occasionally it does not respond to the remote until the button has been pressed two or three times. In a pinch, you can always walk over to the switch and change ports using the Select button on the device. Some reviewers have said that you need a power supply (not provided) to make the remote work. NOT TRUE! It works fine without. I got this from EnjoyGadgets support (who responded very quickly to my query): "The 5V DC port is reserved for some HDMI sources that are not fully complaint to HDMI standards, such as some HD DVRs (for example, DirecTV and Bell ExpressVu)."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can't wait to get my second one! Great gadget! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is an excellent product for the price you pay! I have had this little gadget for just over three months now and it works extremely well, although I do have to occasionally use the remote to change which port I will be using, I don't mind that as it is nothing considering what it doed. As far as plugging this little gadget into the wall in order to use it I have never had to. All I did was just plug in my three HDMI cords for my electronic items that I wanted to use and didn't have to worry about anything else. I love that this gadget allows me to expand my single HDMI port on my TV to allow for three electronic items, (in my case my Xbox 360, my TV service, and my Apple TV) and I am very happy with this item for the fact that I now no longer have to unplug and plug in each of these things. I have yet to have any of my electronics not be able to play using this gadget. Overall I am extremely happy with this product and I recommend it to anybody who needs a gadget like this. I have even ordered a second one for another one of my TVs and can't wait for it to come in!

Works well but will not work with some devices without a power supply.
I have an older Sony LCD TV that only has one HDMI port that is connected to a Sony Blu Ray player so when I recently bought a Wii U for my kids I needed another HDMI port, preferably something not too expensive since when I upgrade the TV it will have all the HDMI ports I will need. I ordered this inexpensive HDMI switch based on the mostly positive reviews on Amazon. After connecting the Blu Ray and Wii U and switching the Blu Ray on, the TV screen just flashes with a few horizontal lines every few seconds and the blue LED on the switch flashes on and off. It is only after switching the Wii U on that the TV works normally. It seemed odd that I had to have 2 devices on just so that the TV will work properly as this is totally inefficient. After some research, I discovered that some devices do not supply enough power to the HDMI port to use with some HDMI switches. This switch does have a connector for a 5VDC power supply but its not included. I actually had a 5VDC adapter from another electronic device so plugged it in and the TV worked normally without the Wii U also being on. The blue LED light on the switch also stopped flashing. So be aware that this switch may not work with some devices without a power adapter. Another quirk with this switch is that it switches to the other connected device seemingly randomly even when the other device is off and you have to switch back, either manually or with the remote. It took me a while to figure out the problem but I noticed that the device switched anytime the LED light on the Wii U went from red (off) to yellow (standby). The Wii U downloads updates while it is off (yellow LED) so this would explain the switching. The 2 page "manual" (only contains a few instructions) wasn't much help but it does say that "When the source devices are on the stand-by mode, its power supply should be turned off, otherwise this switcher cannot meet intelligent function". It appears that the auto sensing circuitry senses power from the Wii U and it switches. This can be really annoying during a movie. A final thing to watch out for is that the infrared receiver for the remote only works if it is placed correctly. There is nothing in the manual that talks about this but the receiver must be placed flat side down with the flat end pointing out towards you. If its just hanging, it won't pick up the signal from the remote unless you are about 1 foot away. So overall this switch does work but the user manual is really poor at explaining things like when you would need a power adapter and the seemingly random device switching and the receiver orientation for the remote control. If you are sure that your devices all have enough power through the HDMI and that they don't have a standby mode (I think most gaming consoles download updates while the system is off) then you will have no problem with this switch. If you have devices that go into standby mode and switching in the middle of watching a movie really bothers you, then you should look for something that either does not auto switch or get something with more advanced auto switching circuitry, probably a lot more expensive though. Now that I know the quirks of this switch, I am happy since it is relatively inexpensive and works well. Picture and sound quality are excellent. But just be aware of the devices you are connecting to it as it will autoswitch between devices if some of your devices have a standby mode. Would really be frustrating if you are playing an online game and it switches to another gaming system or your PVR. Jan 5 update: I didn't realize that the seller also sells the same switch that includes a 5V adapter for $1 more (product ID EGHS3SAC). I sent the seller an email to see if I could pay the difference to get the power adapter and they replied within 15 minutes saying they would send me a free adapter! Great customer service. I would recommend just spending another $1 to buy the switch that includes the power adapter to avoid any issues with underpowered devices.

Great deal! Works fantastically :)
This worked excellently for my older projection Samsung TV! I had the APPLE TV and the Chromecast plugged into this device. I wanted to wait to write this review until I had least used it for a month. Out of using it every day - only twice while I was watching the Apple TV did it randomly switch to the Chromecast (I think the Chromecast must have restarted for an update). I just hit the correct button on the remote and it went right back to the Apple TV. This may be a problem for gaming, but to watch shows or movies it was not a bother at all. It was not a problem to have both of these plugged into the switch at the same time and have one in "standby mode" while I am using the other device. Also, for all the reviews out there that say you need a power source - you do not! I took this out of the box and the only thing I did need to purchase was an HDMI cable to run from the TV to the switch (as I did not have an extra laying around, nor did one come with the switch) The remote worked just fine, I did have to point it at the switch more directly (I know some remotes for TVs you can point at any wall and it will still work) So for the price, this was an absolutely amazing deal, and I would recommend it for sure.
