Really cool kids toy!!!

I was very surprised at the quality of the LED display, I wasn't expecting it to be this bright, and it's quite high resolution too. The animation effects are also well animated and vibrant. I'm an average guy and the mask is quite small. The eye holes are quite close together, and your nose is squished against the back of the mask. It looks best with a black hoodie with the hood up as then you can't see the person's head as well and the LED display looks best. The app isn't very intuitive and has a lot of quirks. The instructions also aren't very clear, but with some perseverance I managed to get my own photos on the mask via my iphone.

I really like the concept of this mask (the LED animations look great in the dark), but it's pretty much impossible to wear if you have a nose. The problem stems from the size of the silicone eyelets, which need to be bigger and extend out at least another half-inch or so from the flat surface of the mask backing in order to allow for space that would accommodate an average human nose, be it child or adult. I suspect that I'll have to take this thing apart and do some serious modifications on it, possibly attaching something like a large snorkel mask, in order to make it more functional. Again, love the idea, but the physical design falls short in regards to wearability.

This product is definitely an upgraded version. We have purchased shining glasses and different versions of shining masks. This version has the most features and higher pixels. For example, sound control, which was not available in previous versions, is very interesting. You can see some specific commands to directly control the switching of patterns through sound control, which is very interesting and suitable for gifts. It's okay for my son's birthday, give it to him to play with, and it can be used for Halloween soon. There are many default patterns in the app, and you can also upload materials by yourself, making DIY fun.

(Updated review the app now works with a update. Was not workingfor a few days so was fixed fairly quick.)The mask it's self seems to work just fine. Looks good. But the app to control the mask and add custom images to it worked when I first got it and set it up but now it just keeps crashing. Installed on another device same thing just crashes
