Neuropathic pain finally gone!
I, too, have had neuropathy, not from Diabetes, but because of 4 herniated discs to my back, since the 90's. The neuropathic pain worsened to the point that I would have, what I called, "wheelchair" days, where I literally had to get around at home in a wheelchair. They've tried me on everything from antidepressants to seizure medicine; the last medication which I took was the Lyrica, which, not only did not help me but also gave me some side effects of confusion and forgetting things. I'm a nurse and I could not risk many mistakes at work with my patients. I'm also a research nurse, (by nature), though I did work as a research nurse for a number of years. I've tried just about every natural/homeopathic and home remedy that is out there but to no avail. Finally, my pain was so severe that while I was at the local nutrition store where I regularly shop, I asked if there was anything new with respect to neuropathy, and the young man asked me if I had ever heard of Lion's Mane mushrooms and how it works on nerves. I came home and researched it, then decided to try it; I ordered the Lion's Mane mushroom in powder form (they didn't have the powdered form at the nutrition store). The first 7 days, I didn't think that the pain to my feet could get any worse than I had been experiencing, but it did. I was ready to quit taking the mushroom powder, but then, I thought it through, as what I had read about how the mushrooms work to regenerate damaged nerves, so I continued to take them. By day 8, the pain subsided, but knowing what I do know about neuropathy, in that neuropathic pain can be very unpredictable, I started to chart the presence, level, and frequency of pain on my calendar. I started taking the mushroom powder, faithfully, on Feb. 11, and besides the 7 days of increased pain, I have not had any more neuropathic pain. I am back to walking, 2-5 miles with my husband. I do, also have CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) from an injury I sustained to my left foot/leg in 2011; I lost 20% use of the peroneal nerve, for which I have a permanent spinal cord stimulator implanted, and also use Lidocaine 5% patches to that foot. I am hopeful that with continued use of the mushrooms, it can regenerate the peroneal nerve so that I will no longer have to use the AFO brace that I have to wear, 24/7. I've also, always, struggled with retaining information and with short-term memory ever since I was given a medication, Stadol many years ago. At one point, back in the '80s, I had a medical workup for MS, because of some of the symptoms I was having. My brain MRI showed that I had amyloid plaques in my brain; I then had to have yearly MRI's to monitor progression or increase in the number of amyloid plaques. Since I've been taking the mushroom powder, I have noticed that my memory is quite improved; I can retain information and I feel that I am more focused and have greater clarity. The "icing on the cake", for me, has been with respect to my bladder issues. I'm 65 years old and had been experiencing issues commonly seen with older women, like not feeling like I was completely emptying my bladder, plus, I was also experiencing some leakage when I'd wait too long to urinate. In fact, I had been seen by a Uro-Gynecologist because of my symptoms and he had scheduled me for a cystoscopy. Because my husband got sick and ended up having to have surgery (it was scheduled on the same day as my cystoscopy), I decided to wait to schedule the cystoscopy until after he recovered from his surgery. So, now that all my symptoms are, I am rethinking whether I still need to reschedule. All of that is completely gone! Gone! I will definitely continue taking the mushrooms and make them a daily part of my health regimen. I'm a missionary nurse and so I'm always sharing helpful information with others. As a person who has suffered from neuropathic pain since the '90s, I share my experience with everyone, especially those who have had neuropathic pain.

I can think again
I was having trouble remembering those 6 digit security codes they send you every time you try to sign into something. I also have advanced neuropathy in my arms and legs. I seemed to be having short term memory issues and I felt I was in a brain fog most of the time. I heard about Lions Mane and started researching this mushroom and decided to give it a try for both the memory and nerve damage. I also spent the time researching the different manufactures and their processes of producing this supplement. Freshcap ended up being my choice because they had verifiable process for making their supplement powder that had potency, no fillers and was clean without contaminants. They also supply a great guide to many other mushrooms and openly explain their process for making their product. After using this product for about a week I notice a difference and it has only continued to get better since. I have purchase this product every other month since for the past 9 months. I am on a tight budget but this product is a game changer and worth every penny. It is not the cheapest but in my opinion is one of the best. I no longer have brain fog, I can think clearly, my short term memory is back to normal, and my mental abilities seem heightened and my nerve pain is less noticeable. I not only use this product but also their Mushroom Complex and I feel great. I hope you have the same results because I love this product from Freshcap.

A little goes a long way
Been using this for over a year and have seen results after first use. It will help you focus, makes you more alert, and also helps you go number 2! Just be careful and start lower than recommended dose. I had to build my tolerance up. Strong, pure ingredients that mixes well in hot water. The smell or taste doesn't affect my drink i mix it in.

This supplement seems to be helping my 98 year old mother with advanced dementia.
I started buying this supplement for both my mother and I since it is more pure than similar Lion's Mane supplements I have bought in the past and gave up on. I took it for about a month, but gave up on it since it didn't dissolve well in my morning coffee, but continued giving to my mother as a part of her supplement cocktail. Although we didn't see any immediate effects in my mother, after 2 months of giving it to her we are seeing improvements that we didn't expect. Prior to giving Mom this supplement, she was sleeping most of the day and was having more problems walking with assistance as she was dragging her feet and not taking steps. We had assumed that her brain was no longer connecting with the use of her legs. We also noticed that when she was awake, she was often spaced out. Her eyes were open, but she didn't seem to see anything and was often not responsive. In the last few days, she has been awake almost the entire day and has been much more responsive. She is now walking and taking real steps without dragging her feet. Although she has aphasia and can't talk, she is trying to talk more and can again respond to questions with simple one-word answers. Even the nurse that comes her a couple hours a week to help with my Mom has noticed the difference and has asked me what has changed. Since this Lion's Mane supplement has been the only change to her supplement regimen, I feel this supplement is making a difference for her. It has taken two months to see the improvements, but most supplements don't show immediate effects. At this point, I am encouraged by her improvements, and will continue giving her this supplement. I may even reconsider taking it myself even though it doesn't mix well with hot coffee. I have included a recent picture of my Mom sitting with me at dinnertime in the family room. I can only hope that I look as good as she does when I am 98 years old.

Noticing effects on the first day... will continue use & periodically update my review.
I'm 29 and have trouble using the right words and lose my train of thought at times. I don't have the best memory for life experiences. Always learning, I came across Paul Stamets on Joe Rogan's podcast and found mushrooms intriguing. I listened to many more Paul Stamets discussions so I figured to give an organic non-China (bad pollution & regulations) product a chance. P.S. It may be a good idea to stay away from portabella mushrooms. 11/29/2018: My first cup was yesterday. Hot water + 1 scoop. The taste wasn't bad at all and I actually felt the impact in my brain (neurogenesis?), a different feeling for sure so I know it's working to an extent. I plan to continue taking the Lion's Mane for a while in fear of early on-set Alzheimer's or Dementia. This runs in the family (& expedited in this day and age) but I do not trust the 'healthcare' industry after being woke to the chemtrails, vaccines, GMOs, Monsanto, and 80+ holistic doctor deaths according to HealthNutNews. The practice of being a doctor has evolved and it is not for the better. Find the help you need. Do not be afraid to learn. Trust yourself, your body, and try to use natural remedies as much as possible. "Let food be thy medicine." - Hippocrates The only drawback on this product is the bag construction and portion size. The bag does not reseal well but I cannot fault FreshCap for the size (60g listed) but they could do a better job of representing it. Neither is worth taking a star from the product. I will be back to post more on the effects of this after a longer impact. Note: my update going forward will be with the understanding that I'm taking the Lion's Mane every day along with THRIVE 6 (6 mushrooms, Lion's Mane being one of them) throughout the work week.
