Rust-Oleum >> 3M >> Vista (Non HIGH Temp Paints)
I used this as a base coat on my bike silencer and engine Guard. the coating and spray was amazing.. i had my silencer sanded before the base coat.. it cover almost all scratches.. i had some heavy rust bumps on the curve of the silencer.. it wasnt fully covered.. ya bcoz those r bumps.. soo.. i had some more coats over there before my final black color coat with 3M silencer coat.. If i went for the Black color Rust-Oleum i wouldn't need 3M.. i had other plans for the grey. After all this i still have like half of the can.. it can do Twice the 3M 's job.. spray quality is nearly same as 3M.. if at all it is a little better than 3M. They have even and good thick spray till the end. I tried like almost all Indian brand paints for automotive.. asian paint, cellux 2x, vista.. compare to all this Rust-Oleum is way better but a bit costly. If u have no problem with money go with Rust-Oleum. they are costly, yes.. but it can do more than twice the Vista Auto Care Spray Paint and more than 4 times Cellux 2X..

Good paint
First of all i got the paint with a broken seal cap, although not a big deal because the paint seemed to be intact and fine Now i have a bike whose exhaust heats a lot and it had to be painted due to scuff marks and scratches , i prepped the surface with some sand paper (400 grit) and cleaned with rubbing alcohol, i sprayed the paint as instructed and tried to bake , the paint bubbled due to high heat but i switched the bike off and let it sit and cleaned the bubbled paint immediately, i let the paint sit overnight and fired up my motorcycle again in the morning, again it bubbled but now from some places , as this was my 1st paint DIY so i am sure that this bubbling is on my part and not on the paint part, i probably made some mistakes in the prepping and spraying of paint , the surface where it was nicely prepped and primed are looking awesome , go for the paint but get the prep done correctly and go for primer before paint , don't buy from here just go to local market and ask a automotive painter to prep and prime the exhaust before you paint

Good product for bike and car exhaust
Best ever product. Very good for rusted exhaust pipe and exhaust muffler. Just clean whole exhaust unit and apply one coat first. After 20 minutes apply second coat. Definetly valve for money product.

Worth more than what you paid for it
I followed the instructions on the can carefully, but I don't possess the skill set to sand the bike well, in spite of that, with only 1 layer of coating the colour has stayed for more than 3 months now with absolutely no signs of wearing off. Used it on RE Thunderbird 350 on the silencer, where most people complain of the paint burning off, this one is truly heat resistant, it has not chipped even a little bit. Great purchase

Waste of money
The clear coat high heat spray is not up to the standard as per their claim for absorption of heat. I hv applied on car engine and silencer this clear heat resistance coat and the result is dangerous bcz engine room and silencer keep warm after 2 hours of car stop and parked . The entire engine and silencer are too much hot so we cannot touch so it is not a perfect heat resistance spray as claimed by seller and fear about high temperatures remain may caused damage to car No solution from company

Beautiful Paint for Exhaust Manifold....!
A must for Indian made cars. Especially for Maruti, Hyundai, Tata and Mahindra .. The exhaust manifold will be good when the vehicle Is new . After 1000 to 1500kms, the exhaust manifold will turn redish brown which is not a rust. The metal that is made up of is of that kind. Auto Manufacturer companies should use such kind of paints, which gives a new look. The "RUST OLEUM"paint is so good, which can withstand high temperature and the paint does not peel off. A very good and a must product....! Thanks Amazon and RUST OLEUM

Great Sealant for Diamond Art Projects
I purchased this high heat clear spray specifically to seal my diamond art pieces, and it has worked beautifully. I use it on hotplates that I make for personal use and as gifts, and the finish it provides is exactly what I was hoping for. It goes on evenly with a smooth spray and doesnโt leave behind a cloudy or heavy coating. Once dry, it gives a nice protective layer that helps keep the diamonds in place without dulling their shine. I was especially pleased that it didnโt cause any discoloration or damage to the adhesive or drills. Another thing I appreciate is how durable the finish feels. It holds up well and gives me confidence that the pieces I gift will last and stay looking nice over time. Overall, this has become a reliable part of my crafting process. If youโre looking for a clear sealant that protects without taking away from the sparkle, this is a great option.

Results as advertised
As long as you follow proper baking procedures works great. The color is VERY matte! Be aware. But also nice. Held up well so far after 1 month.

Good product if you are willing to take the time to do it right.
Works very well when certain common sense best practices are followed. Clean the part thoroughly, that means basic and acid washes beforehand, rough up surface (I used 60 grit) where applicable. Once clean always hold part with hanger or clean non-powdered gloves, after first coat, the same precaution needs to be adhered to. Coats should be thin and consistent. Ideally I would not move forward to final color coats with anything less than two complete prime coats. Part of the reason I coated my exhaust is that I am moving to a winter salt state, soooooo yeah, coat it or watch it rust into oblivion. I tend to go overboard on everything, so the whole system has 4-6 coats of primer depending on location and base metal, with 1-3 curing cycles (where possible), prior to color coats. Coverage is actually pretty good. After the priming process I sanded again after curing but prior to final color coat. I used black, but I imagine most colors (which are in no way true to color expectations or vibrancy... this stuff isn't jet-hot) will hold up the same depending on application and part cleanliness throughout the process. If applied and cured properly I see no reason why flaking, delamination, or "chipping" should be too much of an issue within reason. I'm a year into this job and as of my last oil change, I was able to fully inspect my work and found none of the above. I am happy with the product so far and it worth noting, this is NOT a thermal coating, it is purely protective.... and i suppose aesthetic for some. Time consuming to do right, but if the purpose is to protect your investment, well, take the time and do it right. Can you just go to town on an exhaust part and throw it on the car? Sure. Will it be as durable? Probably not. Take all of this as you will.
