When I tell you that this is a never have I ever in 49 years ever seen anything like this. I had a TERRIBLE allergic Reaction and it swelled my face so much that my skin tore. I teach first grade. What to do! Well I ordered this. Regular makeup was caking bad on these healing wounds. Now onto the crazy part, so I decided to play withit and practice before bed one night. It went on incredibly easy. When I was done FIRST TIME EVER IN MY LIFE USING ONE OF THESE... it was flawless. Such a pretty outcome. No stickieness like some said. I even did eye shadow and lips. The onlything on my face that is not air brushed is my eyeliner and some lip gloss over the ab lip. I am blown away. But wait...you have not heard anything i.pressive yet. Are you wondering why I included apicture of my pillow???? I bet you are. So first try night, yep fell asleep with it on my face. Yep, wake up, and I am a side sleeper.... my brain is awwwweeee man my pillow case... nooo... folks not one single tiny smudge. Looked like I just put my makeup on. Just got up and brushed my hair added fresh lip gloss and went to work. The makeup was flawless. I have changed my whole life. Now, I come home from work shower and wash my face really well, moisturaize. Just before going to bed, I put my makeup on and go to sleep. Then I wake up and brush my hair and walk out the door. No more 45 minute makeup mornings. I am blown away. It only takes about 10 minutes to do your makeup from start to stop. Incredibly easy to use. No running or lines... just perfection. Heaven help me can you even see the wounds on my face. Theres no concealer, no primer putty, it is straight up moisturizer a spritze of rose water through the air brush and then fan dry and apply the base, blush, shaodow, lops, and bronze. Look at that pillow case. My life just got a bit simpler. On top of that, if someone breaks into my house and I have to whip their rear end, I will not scare the police when thry arrive. Have mercy! Yes Mame! Oh to clean it, i just squirt rose water in the tank and spray it till it all runs clear into a beauty blender that I will never need to use again. I went through field day in Florida and did not sweat it off. Just hung in there the way wish make did. It also does not make me feel like I am wearing a heater on my face. If it ever gets clogged just pull the needle back a hair and pull the trigger and run rose water through it. Then push needle back and tighten the chuck on it.

For those of you that are questioning any of the poor reviews on this thing- let me just tell you... I've never been too good at doing my makeup. ESPECIALLY the whole primer/ concealer/ foundation thing. And since I never knew what I was doing, I just never really bothered and chose to live with the imperfections on my face. I have pretty severe psoriasis, extremely dry skin, and minor but frequent stress-induced blemishes. I have over the years tried different makeup brands and techniques to hide these imperfections and always came out looking, in my opinion, unnatural.. so I just forfeited. I actually saw this product on a TV commercial and started looking into its reviews and how it works. Best $95 I've ever spent.. (thanks, Mom, for the Christmas Amazon Gift Card 😘😘 love you!) this thing works like magic and takes VERY little product (only 5 or 6 drops of both primer and foundation). My first try resulted in the posted photo - which doesnt do it justice. It comes with quite a few different shades of foundation (from Fair to Medium) and I happened to find my perfect match (Golden Olive) after applying a small amount of each to my neck to see what blended the best. Once I learned my color, I loaded 6 drops of the provided Anti Aging Primer and applied it all over my face and neck on Medium power from about 6" from my face. It dries incredibly fast and makes your face feel silky smooth. I then loaded up another 6 drops of my foundation and repeated the process.. getting WITHIN the 6" when trying to handle close knit (eyes) or problem areas (blemishes) and you sort of figure it out as you go what power and distance you need to get it right. But it only took me ONE try to get the absolute desired result. Side note- the foundation takes a few more seconds to dry than the primer does! So don't go touching or wiping it immediately! Give it a moment! I finished off my contouring just a little bit with their provided bronzer. It is definitely a Metallic and sparkling bronzer but actually comes out Very nice. This product does not provide "partial coverage" but rather FULL coverage and a VERY !!Natural!! and beautiful resulting appearance. I just could not believe how wonderfully it worked for me. I went into several rooms of my home with different lighting and looked myself in the mirror to see how natural it really looked and was simply amazed. I then went straight to my husband (who told me I looked gorgeous in my sweat pants and leftover eyeliner from the day) and he absolutely could not tell that I was wearing makeup.. he only complemented my complexion.. I am not much into writing reviews but this product truly gave me the SIMPLICITY of makeup application and the CONFIDENCE in my complexion that I was looking for - despite my skin problems. Thank you so much Art of Air! I hope this review was helpful!!! THIS PRODUCT ROCKS!

Several things I like about this product. Basically it's easy to use with just a moderate learning curve level. I also like the minimal coverage I can get for everyday use and then a more (heavier) glam look for special evenings. The number of foundation colors are great so it's not that hard to get the right combo for your complexion. It covers blemishes very well! Given I'm 70 years old, it took some experimenting so as to not get the "caked" old lady look on fine wrinkles. But I learned if I will pull those parts of my skin tighter, the wrinkles are not so prominent. Not so great was the frequent clogging! I had read a lot of reviews before purchasing and most were complaints about this issue. Knowing some don't read all of the instructions or don't feel the need to following cleaning procedures, I figured being obsessive/compulsive, I'd follow the rules from start to finish! I do and I still get clogging, sometimes after just starting use. Not real convenient to be in a rush and have to stop and clean everything before you can finish. From what my inexperienced eye can tell, it's somewhere in the nozzle as the needle and cup seem to be fine. Gotta write the company and figure out a fix. Less of a problem just personal preference, I would prefer to have the initial purchase contain fewer really dark shades as I avoid sun like the plague and am very "fair" -- others say pale. Perhaps give a "shade" kit choice. I also find the peach/pink blush doesn't drip at all. I'm assuming that is just this particular one. If I bang it on the counter, it comes out everywhere, just not through the drip spout. If there is a fix to the clogging issue, this would get five stars. It's so reasonably priced and so easy to learn how -- also just a lot of fun to play with!

I was pleased with the makeup application. Finding the correct color is very important. The instructions on this application are sorely lacking (I tried another product with more in depth helpful instructions). The makeup did feel great on my face. My co-workers told me I looked "softer". And brighter. It does take some practice. Still trying to figure out eye make-up normally applied then air brush foundation. If you do the foundation first and then need to touch near your eyes for eye makeup, the foundation does come off where your finger was. Touchups are pretty easy but take a bit of extra time. So I used the system to practice. Then cleaned it. Then used it to apply makeup before work. Oops wrong color. Cleaned it. Washed face and used it again. Cleaned it. All set, off to work. So used it three times. Next morning, didn't work. Air came out but no makeup. Went old school makeup and ran off to work. Next day, cleaned and cleaned and cleaned the system. Nothing. Returned it. Am now trying a different brand. Fingers crossed. I could definitely see the difference between makeup with the fingers and makeup with the airbrush. So even. So light. I am going to be 74 in a few days. Have really good skin BUT I am 74 , there are so age imperfections. Airbrush is the "natural" way to go.

I compare this Airbrush with five other brands (there's only 5 in the market) narrowed it down to two and from those two I picked up Art of Air. AFter that I took a look at all the instructions and pictures and decided to go to You tube instead. Only two things to connect, easy. Then there was the steps that should be followed a) keep the air brush about 6 inches from your face for best results b) keep the speed about 50% or try on a paper and see what fits best for you c) mix the colors you want d) clean after use (this is a must). Well since I thought I wouldn't be good at doing a,b,or c, I waited and finally came to the conclusion that instead of trying to do it right, I would disregard everything (except, of course, cleaning the nozzle) and would get a bad result and would learn from that, instead of facing hte impasse that I have never used any air machine for make up and probably would do a terrible job trying to do what is right. So I aimed at doing what is wrong and release the pressure of making a mess. With that in mind I went with that little nozzle all over at any distance and at any speed, finished and turned it off. I was very surprised that the results still came up flawless. It was as if I had a thin transparent paper over my face. It didn't cake, it didn't look artificial. It was marvelous! I do intend to perfect my skills, now that I have this magic machine. This is one of the best purchases I ever made and here is why...when I look back (I should place a review for this vapor machine) at the times I had to clean the floor using the standar methods and after I acquired a little vapor machine, I realize that it was a life changing product (don't know how I leaved without it) and I feel the same way about this little machine. I just wished I had bought this a long time ago. This is an A plus, plus. It is absolutely phenomenal and I"m in love with it (at night I do remove any make up, so I don't know if it would last 24 hours and it doesn't matter to me because I like to remove the make up before going to sleep but another plus is that it did not stain my blouse either). I can't speak well enough of this little machine. I'm so impressed. A caveat: no need to pull your needle (they say to clean it) but if it is not necessary why should you (I pulled out the trigger but fortunately the company has a video to place the trigger back...but the needle never got smirred by make up and I should have left it alone. Number two: to make my make up look even fresher I splash some water-small quantity-- on my hands and tap on my face. I think the effect is rewarding.
