Perfect Upgrade for My 40 Inch Ultrawide
My previous monitor arm was working fine with my 34 inch ultrawide, but I recently upgraded to a 40 inch 5k2k ultrawide that, while glorious, is significantly heavier and outside my old arm’s weight range. I decided to pick this MSI arm up to solve that, and it has worked flawlessly. The monitor feels properly supported now instead of like I am asking a smaller arm to live a very stressful life. Installation is a breeze. I love that the instructions use pictures for each step, and each part required for that step is labeled clearly. The hardware is also separated into pouches with matching label numbers, so it is basically impossible to grab the wrong screw along the way unless you are really determined to cause problems. For something that is going to hold an expensive monitor over a desk, that kind of simple, organized setup is very appreciated. Once installed, the arm feels extremely solid. My 40 inch ultrawide is not a tiny display, and this does not feel like it is barely hanging on. The clamp holds firmly, the arm stays where I position it, and the monitor does not sag or slowly droop over time. That was my biggest concern going in, because a heavy monitor can make a weaker arm feel fine at first and then slowly reveal that it was not actually up to the job. The adjustability is also very good for a heavy duty arm. I can move the screen into a comfortable position, pull it closer when I need to focus, push it back when I want more desk space, and fine tune the height and angle without fighting the whole setup. The quick release VESA plate is another nice touch because mounting a large monitor is already awkward enough without having to hold it in place while threading screws behind the screen. The build quality matches what I wanted for a heavier ultrawide. The metal construction feels sturdy, the joints feel controlled, and the whole thing has enough weight and tension to inspire confidence. It is definitely overkill for a small lightweight monitor, but that is exactly why it works so well for larger screens. I would much rather have an arm that feels a little overbuilt than one that makes me nervous every time I adjust the display. It is also versatile enough that it should work for a lot of different desk setups. You get both clamp and grommet mounting options, support for common VESA patterns, and enough weight capacity for monitors that many basic arms simply cannot handle. That makes it a good choice if you are upgrading to a larger ultrawide now or just want something with room for future monitor changes. Overall, this is an excellent heavy duty monitor arm for larger displays, ultrawides, and heavier setups where a cheaper arm may not be enough. It installs easily, feels stable, supports serious weight, and gives you the adjustability you want without sacrificing confidence. For around $70, I think the value is very strong, especially compared with the cost of the monitor it is holding.

Great quality at a good price
Upgraded to a MSI 34” ultra wide monitor and it was a little too heavy for my old desk arm mount. After researching other options, I ultimately decided to go with this MSI arm mount to stay consistent with my monitor’s appearance and because I trust MSI’s quality and performance based on my personal experience with their products. It was a little more than a comparable arm mount from another brand, but I felt more comfortable spending the few extra dollars for the MSI brand as I wanted something that gave me peace of mind that it would properly fit my monitor and keep it safe and stable. Setup was easy and the arm feels sturdy and secure. I love the range of motion it offers and is easy to adjust as needed. I will definitely recommend this to others as a great solution to save desk space and make your work or gaming setup more versatile.

Excellent value and great product
Installed the day I received it and the install was super smooth. Instructions are well written and very thoughtful design which feels high quality. Replaced another mount that supports my Alienware 38” ultra wide monitor and this mount worked way better than my old one. Very smooth movement and easy to adjust. The tilt required a small amount of manipulation to lock into place but once I found the sweet spot for tightness adjustments even on the tilt was very easy and doesn’t require tools after the initial install. Highly recommended! Chose this over a competitors _$300 equivalent and have zero regrets going with this option.

Broke Immediately
After putting together the arm and mounting my monitor, I was adjusting the tension in the highest piece (it was tilted as high as it could go when it came out of the box, and I was trying to loosen it so that my monitor wasn't facing the *ceiling*) when the spring inside exploded (!!!) and my monitor violently tipped completely downward. The motion destroyed the end of one of my displayport cords. As far as I can tell, the mechanism was broken to the point it couldn't be reassembled. Not happy that I spent $70 dollars on a defect that damaged other hardware and could've potentially ruined my monitor, and hoping I can get my money back!

Love this
I had to return the first one as something with the gas piston or whatever wasn't working as expected. I'm knocking a star off for that. I tried to go through MSI support, and they were just rough to deal with. Not quick responses, and they wanted me to send the item back, on my dime, before getting a new one, which would have left me without a monitor stand. Ended up just going through Amazon for a much smoother process. Unfortunately the time between buying the first one and the second one (a week or so), price jumped up. Still worth it even at the higher price. It is a very good quality, good future proofing as it can hold big heavy monitors (which I intend to get). Very sturdy construction and it looks good. No complaints at all, and even at the higher price, its cheaper than competitive arms designed for big monitors.

It's MSI
I was having a hard time trusting an arm for my ultra wide 34" and when I saw this MSI heavy duty I figured there's no way they would put out junk for something like this. It would ruin them so I felt confident as I put it together. I still feel good about it as I write this with it turned sideways in portrait mode using the mobile app because I don't allow Amazon on my PC. It's like having a huge phone hanging down at you. I love it and there's no way I would seriously risk it if not for an arm I can trust. I hope I never have to update this review. Also, the instructions are simple and it's easy to put together. I did it single player and hung the 34" solo without a problem. The reach is good as well, just check the listed measurements. Don't cheap out on something that holds your monitor's life on its arm. This is a good product from MSI unlike some of their GPUs. You can even get one with RGB if you're into that kind of thing.

Works great even on glass desk
I have a Neo G9 and it works great to switch from desk use to a racing sim rig on a glass desk, there is some flex in the desk, but after a month of use still no issues. The mechanism is strong, but the tilt needs to be very tight. The range of motion is good and the securing mechanism is solid. I think the cable management could have been better as I have to use zipties to keep the plastic moldings on when articulating, but I think if the screen was only positioned once and then needed minor adjustments they would have been adequate. I adjust the screen about 3 times a night from desk use to sim to desk for the past 10 days and no issues have been notes other than the tilt getting slightly loose and sagging, but after tightening to an uncomfortable amount that is also working as it should. Overall easy to build and install. hardest part is holding the screen and getting it lined up with the bracket, but at least its all pre mounted otherwise on cheaper units it would require two people. This is good for a single person.

Empfehlung geht raus

Slechte ervaring - Beschadigd geleverd

Very sturdy
Simple set up and install, cable management was a breeze and the tension is easily adjustable. Has been clamped to my desk for about 8 months now and hasn’t sagged at all (issue with an older cheaper mount). The base plate for the desk is also pretty hefty, my monitor is quite heavy and I use the “clamp” mount it comes with… not once have I worried. As a bonus, it also hasn’t marred my wood desk at all. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
