This ring runs small, we bought this ring in a size 8 and decided to try it on. The ring went on smoothly but the nightmares began when we tried to remove it. We tried soap, coconut oil, cold compresses, and the ribbon/floss/shoe lace . We waited and waited but my boyfriends finger got more and more swollen. We thought this ring would be off easy but no, after countless hours of trying to remove the ring we figured it wasn’t coming off. Then came the point, we called our local 311 numbers and they told us to head to the fire department, first fire department nobody was there, second fire department used a ring cutter and it barely made a dent, just a scrape on the top black coating. Then that station got a call. We were forced to go to the next fire department. We pull up the next Fire department and 5 fire fighters come out to check on us. We explain the situation and after about 2 hours, 4 new ring cutters, a bunch of pliers, a vice, and 5 fire fighters later, the ring was removed from his finger. So my advice when buying this ring, size up, and if it doesn’t want to go over your knuckle don’t push it because it will not want to come off it is extremely durable.
