Oakley mens Oo9239 Crankshaft Rectangular Sunglasses

I'm writing this about my second pair of Crankshafts. The first pair lived a hard life for over four years and just wore out, and I didn't want to replace them with anything else. Extremely comfortable, light and durable, they stand up to mishaps (my first pair had a few) and just keep working. The earpiece hinge is an excellent design that just seems unlikely to wear out; if twisted, it just comes apart instead of breaking and can easily be pressed back into place. When the lenses get scratched, there are high-quality replacement lenses available in many colors, mirrored, polarized, the works, so as long as the frame holds up you can keep a pair of these fresh and functional almost forever. The one small downside, other than the high price, is that when folded the glasses are still a little bulky for a pocket. I've gotten used to it but they will take up lots of space when you're not wearing them. Oakley includes a microfiber bag for storage, which protects the lenses when pocketed without adding extra bulk or weight. Overall, these are top-notch sunglasses at a price that is high, but reasonable for what you get. I would have spent this much on multiple replacements for cheaper glasses over the past four years. Recommended.

These are very nice, I ordered the Matte version with black iridium polarized lens. My previous pair was the fuel cell, matte as well but i lost a lot of weight and they didn't fit right anymore so after doing some research i found these new crankshafts would fit perfect. They are smaller than the fuel cells and ever so slightly bigger than the gascans. So if you have a larger head then the fuel cells would be perfect, i would say these fit smaller to medium size faces. The gascans which I have tried on fit pretty much the same on the sides but they are a slimmer profile which i didn't like on my face. These are a little taller like the fuel cells. They are basically a mix of the gascans and fuel cells in one in terms of looks. They are very lightweight and no light comes in from the top, bottom or sides. The only negative about matte is it holds fingerprints depending on how oily your fingers are. would recommend if you like the casual but sporty look.

I received these glasses quickly shipping was quick! I love them I normally stay to basic colors like black on black or browns but I ordered these fire orange with mirror finish and the rock! The frames feel hefty and durable! Quality! The lenses are decent! I am used to M Jims. Which are polarized so I cant really compare but I am ordering polarized lenses for these. I mean the lenses are clear but I just love polarized because of less reflections. These fit well! No nose pinching or marks after wearing them for hours. I forget there even on and that's what I love. I ride a motorcycle and these are perfect for them because the sides are enclosed so less wind, less tears! This is my third pair of Oakleys. I have bought over 10 years. I love them all. Other than scratched lenses, the frames hold up over time. I also have 2 pairs of Jims and ray bans as well. But my Oakleys can get down and dirty and the durability is second to none. These are made in the US and you can tell! Love em!!! If your thinking of buying them! You will not regret it!
