Prima Marketing Watercolor Confections: Tropicals

I recieved my Prima watercolour set a lot earlier than the day amazon had given , which was awesome ! Also this product really exceeded my ezpectation , its a super lovely box , small enough to fit in your palm , making watercolour field sketching really easy , the colour pigments really well , there are three greens and one of them is a beautiful olive green the other two are quite similar except this there is no downside to this set.

These are a great set of water colors for beginners... I loved the colors that came with this set as well as the metal box that they were packaged in. The colors look vibrant and lovely. I also own the 'Odyssey' set of color from Prisma Marketing and they complement the colors in this set well.

The delivery took almost 20 days. Lil dissapointed with that. Else the product is Highly pigmented but not that transparent like other such as sennelier or daniel smith. All in all, at this price with the cute tin box i think the price is worth it.

Sehr schöne, kräftige und leuchtende Farben. Sehr gut geeignet für Anfänger, da viele Primärfarben (Gelb, Rot und Blau) enthalten sind. Die Blautöne sind nicht so leuchtend wie die anderen Farben. Ich würde das Set zusätzlich mit Ultramarinblau ergänzen. Das ist auch möglich, da in der Mitte genug Platz ist um noch weitere halbe Näpfe zuzufügen. Ich habe mir das Set deshalb gekauft, weil es mehr Platz bietet als andere vergleichbare Sets, bei denen es nicht möglich ist, zusätzliche Näpfe einzusetzen. Außerdem ist der Metallkasten sehr gut verarbeitet. Er hat abgerundete Kanten , auch im Mischfach, so daß das Wasser beim Mischen nicht heruntertropfen kann. Vergleichbare leere Metallkasten kosten in der Regel ca. 20Euro und sind nicht so gut verarbeitet. Hier hat man für das gleiche Geld einen schönen und praktischen Kasten und die tollen Farben noch dazu. Es stehen keine Namen oder Pigmente auf den Näpfchen, aber wenn ich sie mit meinen anderen vergleiche, ähneln sie folgenden Farben: Lichter Ocker, Kadmiumgelb, Kadmiumrot, Permanent Karmin, Magenta, Dioxazinviolet, Preussischblau, Phthaloblau, Gelbgrün, Phthalogrün, Hookersgrün, Umbra gebrannt. Ich kann den Kasten sehr empfehlen.

新品とありましたが パレットの外装に目立つ細かいキズが たくさんありましたが 海外なのでいたしかたないかなと。 チープ絵の具で有名なだけあって 絵の具の質は値段相応です。 使った感じが サクラ透明水彩と同じくらいかな？ ローズ系、紫系の発色はいいです。

Superbe sélection de couleurs. Ultra pigmentées, elles sont agréables à utiliser et visibles même sur fonds foncés ( beige et gris sans soucis) et même sur fond noir mélangées aux Metallic Accents de Prima.

I was really nervous about buying paints from the internet rather than a physical store but these colours were worth the gamble. The package arrived EARLY and in PERFECT condition. I tried out the little swatch paper and the colours are true to reviews I’d seen online previously. They are vibrant, great quality and inspiring. I can’t wait to use them more!

I ordered this Prima set and the tropicals set after trying out some cheaper watercolours from Walmart. I have watched a bunch of artist tutorials on Skillshare, you tube, etc. and a few people have recommended them as good paints at a good price and that is just what they are. They are highly pigmented and the colours are wonderful and vibrant, especially the Tropicals set. Using the pans takes some getting used to after working with the tubed paints but they work great and spread beautifully over water. The itty bitty pans are the cutest things ever and the tin is small but has lots of pallet space. All around I am super happy with them. They'll be great for travel too!!
