Hard pulling but flawed design
Appropriate size cable. Free spool results in backlash. Take up winding is not kept in alignment. Backlash/tension plate is missing from this design. Electrical harness works. I installed this winch. Used it one time to pull my boat out of water. It did the job but wire rope overlapped and backlashed when free spool. Requested return and approved. Returned it today.Poor product design.

Not worth it
Bought this winch for my 800 pound rhino, winch claims 3500 pounds but it barely pulled my rhino out of some mud the first time, the second time went to use it and bam total failure (see photo for reference) dont waste your time on this winch ive had better luck with harbor feight brand

Great for my plow!!
I bought these because of the price and needed to upgrade my crappy rusted out one I had one my quad. Installing was easy since there was a winch already there so everything was self explanatory. It came with a remote but I like using the hardwired button because it’s easier to use when plowing snow. It easy handles the plow and wet heavy snow that I push up into piles. I deff recommend if your looking for a decent winch for tour quad.

Deer loader
Mounted this unit in my camp truck to load deer and hogs since it is difficult to load these critters by my self. Put a keel roller assembly on the tailqate and we are ready for business.

The instructions weren't very good, but did get it to work. Could never get the remote to work.

5 minutes during use, unit caught fire. Relay malfunction. Third degree burns on hand disconnecting on fire wires from battery. The only thing that could have allowed this to happen, would be the relay shorting out. Wire were correct, degree in electronic.. This is not the only unit having problems with. Another unit is intermittent on working and failing, it is several months old. Avoid these at all cost.

No! Just NO!
Stripped a gear first snow. I was using to raise and lower my Atv plow. They sent a replacement gear after a couple of weeks of goofing around . Replacement gear came in a Mickey mouse package from somewhere in the middle East.
