This is a fantastic set of fasteners for a homeowner. I'm sure you could go to Home Depot or Lowes or somewhere and buy all these and probably save a buck or two, but that's not what this is. This kit is a small set of three boxes that interlock together, and you can keep it in a closet or garage. It has the most common fasteners that you would need in a home. Obviously, these are not things you're going to dangling from a helicopter with, but for the regular homeowner, this will cover about 95% of what you would need. As I have gotten this, I'm thinking it would make a great housewarming gift for young people. Give them this, and a cordless driver or drill. After that, all they need is some skills, but those come with experience. The boxes looked bigger in the pictures, but that's actually a good thing. This is a good kit for the money!

The Jackson Palmer 2200 piece hardware set is a nice assortment. From small to larger pieces, you're bound to find what you're looking for. Pros: I like that the hardware is split up per case with screws, SAE, and Metric contained in their own trays. The individual compartments can be made larger by removing the dividers between compartments. This will allow for larger items to be stored in the case. This set also came with four empty trays to store your own hardware. This was nice as I had hardware in several different places around the shop. Having them in one convenient location makes it easier to find and it keeps your shop more organized. The individual cases snap together to carry as if they were one case. There is not a limit to how many cases you can snap together. The kit comes with a paper sheet identifying the assorted hardware contained in each case. This is probably a good idea as once the hardware is used up, you'll most likely be placing different hardware in the case. Cons: The clips holding the cases together are made of plastic. If one breaks, it will most likely cause the case to not attach to another case from that point forward so be careful. The cases can be a bit tricky when snapping together as you have to slide the case under four individual plastic clips on the sides of the case. Once they're all in place, you just need to slide the front latch up to secure the cases from sliding out. Keep in mind that too many cases snapped together will eventually break a snap down the road, given the compounded weight from each case. So, you'll want to keep them to a minimum. The cases do not have the assorted hardware labeled on each case. Overall, this hardware set is very nice and meets my needs around the shop. It is a great portable option when on the go. I recommend this hardware set to those that diy and for those that are looking for a nice assortment of small hardware.

I've bought these several times for work and now most recently for home. A terrific assortment of high-quality fasteners that come in 3 plastic carrying cases with handles, and the cases interlock to create a single unit with a handle that makes it easy to take them with you to a job site. A surprisingly small footprint considering the variety and number of fasteners that are included.

Not gonna lie... I thought the previous reviews were fake (just because they all sounded oddly similar). In spite of that, I ordered the product anyway. I figured for the low price, it was worth the risk. Well, it turns out all those other reviewers were right on track! This is actually an amazing deal for the price. To me it seems weird to focus on the containers, but quite frankly they are really nice. They have a nice snug fitting hinged lid. As others before me have stated, there is no worry about items in the compartments get mixed up. I also really like the way they trays attach and stack on one another. It's snug enough to comfortably carry it as a combined unit without worrying that it's going to fall apart. Enough about the containers though... the hardware assortment itself is great. It's a wonderful selection of screws, nuts, bolts and washers. I get rather cranky when mid-project I find i need to run to the store to purchase one of the aforementioned items. I finally decided to seek out of bulk assortment and eliminate the need to constantly run out to purchase one or two here and there. The included sizes seem to cover pretty much anything I would need and the quality is spot on. I am super happy with my purchase and have no hesitation in recommending this to others.

I had this in a wish list for a long time and finally decided to get it. I wish I had got it sooner. Since the short time I've had it (3-4weeks), I have used multiple pieces from each of the 3 boxes. I would prefer stacking bins with pull-out trays so I wouldn't have to unstack them, open the lid and fish out what I need. But I suppose, if I need to transport it to another workbench or job, the boxes w/lids would be convenient.

Super efficient, great value for the price and quality. I've used this set multiple times and have no complaints. I do; however, have a suggestion...it would be awesome if the sizes were on the outside of the cases per section for easy reorder or simply easier to find the right box, and slot at a glance. The boxes close tightly making each square sealed preventing any unwanted mixing. Everything stays put. The boxes themselves are a little tricky to lock together but once you figure out to slide into place rather than snap it's a sinch. I carry all three fully loaded just by the handle after the boxes are fully skid together and ha e had no issue whatsoever. Other reviews stated that they will disconnect and fall spilling everything, but I think they didn't lock it in place properly. He knove even dropped one of the boxes And it simply bounced and landed on its top but stayed closed and all pieces remained in their assigned slots. Would definitely buy again
