What little kid doesnโt want to try this?
Seems well made and my 1.5 yr old and 3.5 yr old are both into it. Keeps them entertained for a little while while enhancing fine motor skills and a bit of problem solving.

Very captivating!
My 18 month old granddaughter loves knobs, locks, latches all on cabinets and doors! The moment she saw this board full of them she grabbed it up and seldom puts it aside. The metal latches are shiny and bright. Very catching to a toddlers eye. And all of the doors with numbered animals painted inside can be slammed over and over unlike our real doors! We had already bought the switch board panel which has taught her fine motor skills with little lights and buttons. Such clever toys for little ones to get absorbed in learning basic eye hand skills and alot more. Thank you for designing these curious boards for busy toddlers to immerse their hands and fingers into.

Challenging and satisfying for 8 month old
Started my almost 8 month old on this puzzle when she mastered a wooden peg popping toy. She had difficulty and frustration the first few weeks but the challenge kept her engaged. She first mastered pulling the magnetic pieces out. They do tend to get stuck in the front frame so I have to help adjust them sometimes so she can pull them out (as you can see in my video). At 9 months, she completely mastered opening and closing the hinges. I am now challenging her to open the ones with specific animals, asking "Where's the pig?" and she usually picks the correct one. She also really enjoys when I make the animal sounds when she opens the doors. Totally recommend this for a baby or toddler who hasnt quite mastered the lock puzzles but has enough hand dexterity or interest therein to do more than just shake and inspect toys. The only downside is the paper print on the magnetic pieces is starting to wear on the edges, mostly because my baby is still mouthing so I try to keep it out of her mouth but they still get a little banged up. See pic. This will be a favorite for a few years Im sure as we discover new ways to play and engage with it.

Fun and educational
Fun toy for critical thinking and problem solving. Good for my 1 year old and 3 year old still enjoys it. Itโs pretty bulky and occasionally a piece gets stuck but itโs still fun.

Great for Curious Little Hands
I think this was a great buy for my toddler. Sheโs still learning how to use the different latches, but I can already tell this is a toy sheโll grow into and enjoy for a long time. I like that it combines fine motor practice with colors, numbers, and animals hidden behind the doors. A few of the doors donโt sit perfectly flush when closed, which honestly bothers me more than it would bother my toddler, and it hasnโt affected how the toy functions. Overall, Iโm very happy with the purchase and love that it offers plenty of opportunities for learning and exploration.

Our child loves this!
Another great quality Melissa & Doug product. Our little one is nearly three and absolutely loves working through the series of latches and locks and counting the animals underneath.

Quality needs to be better
The quality of the toy was terrible and is not safe for young kids. Splinters were found on 2 of the doors. Overall, the wood pieces were rough and in need of sanding!

Good interactive engaging toy
Great toy to return to, bright colours and shiny locks, ranging in difficulty, got it at 1 where most were still difficult but she still enjoyed interacting with all the pieces, can do it all herself now at 2.5

Sturdy and versatile
Iโve bought two of these for different grandchildren. When they visit each other it is still the โgo-toโ toy - despite having so many different things to choose from. Sturdy. Great for learning new skills with all the different locks.
