I’m very pleased with the ‘water proof’-ness of the box. I bought it for storing a computer and other pieces of expensive electronic equipment outside. (For a telescope.) Over the past few weeks the box has seen a variety of weather conditions from 78 F to 22 F, and two heavy thunderstorms that dropped 2 to 3 inches of rain and blew gusts over 20 mph. I used a simple piece of twisted wire to secure the lid. Not a drop of moisture got inside! The electronics are fine. So, yes, the box is as good as advertised. Easy to put together, too.

Nice little storage box. Serves its purpose. Perfect for on my deck. Its used m9re as a garden box for me. Was able to store a lot of deck items for winter.

My hinges broke off in the back. Lid will not stay on or up! Would not buy this again because of the lid.

I must say that the assembly was quick and easy. The quality seems ok for now as I just assembled it and it has not stood the test of time. I live where it is very hot on the patio, so we'll see! The only complaint is that I ordered, and the box said, chestnut brown. There was a grey available as well. The one I received sure looks grey and not chestnut brown. So if order c. brown, expect to receive a really greyed brown!
