I've wanted one of these bad boys for ages and in a moment of weakness (or absolute clarity), ordered one for me as a present from my wife. She was surprised when I opened it on xmas morning and I said (in front of the kids) what a great Mam she was, earning her brownie points into the bargain. I've since used it to accurately measure the new extension we've been having built and anything else I can find that needs measuring. It's excellent and so easy to use.

Given many of the laser measures on the market are far more expensive I was somewhat dubious about the quality this would be. I needn't have been worried, it appears to be good quality and certainly does the job. I only needed some measurements of my loft for insulating, so 100% accuracy wasn't an issue (although I'm sure the device is accurate), but given the distance was over 48ft. (with a wall in the middle) and I only had a 16ft tape measure it would have been a pain to try to measure manually. With the laser, it took all of a few seconds (and is probably more accurate than I would have been). As a device I will only use a few times, the £18 price tag isn't too bad, I'm sure any professional DIYer's or contractors may well prefer a much more expensive brand name and will probably get some additional functionality that this cheaper unit does not have, but it did what I needed it to and did it quickly and without any fuss. Good enough for me. :)

Ho recentemente acquistato questo metro laser e devo dire che sono rimasto davvero colpito. È diventato rapidamente il mio strumento preferito per qualsiasi lavoro di misurazione, sia in casa che sul lavoro. La prima cosa che ho notato è quanto sia facile da usare. Il display LCD retroilluminato è chiaro e leggibile anche in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione. Con una precisione di ±1/16 di pollice e una portata fino a 70 metri, questo piccolo gioiello tecnologico mi ha permesso di misurare rapidamente e accuratamente stanze intere, distanze esterne e persino altezze difficili da raggiungere[1]. Ciò che mi ha davvero impressionato è la versatilità. Oltre alle semplici misurazioni lineari, può calcolare aree, volumi e persino utilizzare il teorema di Pitagora per misurazioni indirette. Queste funzioni si sono rivelate incredibilmente utili quando ho dovuto stimare la quantità di vernice necessaria per ridipingere il soggiorno o calcolare il volume di un nuovo armadio. La funzione di memorizzazione dei dati è un altro punto a favore. Posso salvare fino a 99 misurazioni, il che è fantastico quando si lavora su progetti più grandi e si devono tenere traccia di molte dimensioni diverse[1]. Un aspetto che apprezzo particolarmente è la robustezza del dispositivo. Con la sua classificazione IP54, non devo preoccuparmi di usarlo in cantiere o in giardino. È resistente alla polvere e agli schizzi d'acqua, il che lo rende perfetto per l'uso in varie condizioni[1]. L'unico piccolo inconveniente che ho notato è che a volte può essere un po' sensibile alla luce solare diretta, ma basta un po' di ombra per risolvere il problema. In conclusione, questo metro laser ha superato di gran lunga le mie aspettative. È preciso, versatile e resistente, il tutto in un pacchetto compatto e facile da usare. Se state cercando uno strumento di misurazione affidabile che possa gestire una varietà di compiti, non cercate oltre. Vale ogni centesimo e vi farà risparmiare tempo e fatica in innumerevoli progetti.

This thing is great! I replaced an older unit that worked much slower, this is basically instant and just as accurate as the Bosch
