Very very happy with the product! I purchased this cord for the soul purpose of lacing up a collar to my hatchet. After I laced the collar, I was very pleased with the look and durability. Several weeks passed, and after the leather from the collar had naturally stretched, I attempted to really pull the and tighten the cord to give the collar a nice and snug fit. I was very impressed that it did not break! This is a very strong cord! Well worth the price, and I cannot wait to use the rest of the spool for future projects!The picture I have added was taken after I tightened the lace.

I just got this product yesterday and made a necklace with it. I can't speak for durability yet, but I am very pleased so far. The product had a nice smell, consistent coloring and made secure knots very easily. The color is a very deep red/brown color that should go with anything I need to use it for. At this point, I will be ordering again!

Pros: one of the cheaper listings for leather cord on Amazon (at time of writing this review).Cons: Inconsistent thickness, paint issues, durability concerns.The attached picture shows three different thicknesses off the same spool. It’s a little hard to see, but the thickness went from a “thin” 1mm all the way up to 2mm in the middle, and then back down towards 1.5.After making two bracelets with this stuff I started to notice paint flaking off during my knitting and braid work, so I’ll need to keep an eye on that.A few of my bracelets are okay, but I’ve got concerns regarding the durability for some of them. The leather either broke or snapped in a couple places on one of the bracelets before I even finished.I’ve been making leather bracelets for about 6 years now and this was one of the more cumbersome/fidgety spoils I’ve ever worked with.

This cord is a little wide for the project I had planned (my error), but it's lovely, supple, dark and slightly distressed. I've not seen anything else quite like it and I'm sure I'm going to find all kinds of places to use it! Many thanks to the seller for shipping it super fast!!

I loved this item so much the first time I ordered, when I reordered the product that I got was more of a maroon color than a dark brown. This is used for my business in making jewelry so when an I ran out amd had an order to fill this made it difficult as the color was not a dark chocolate brown like before.. otherwise the material itself is good quality leather.

Love this leather cording. It's got a matte almost soft finish and feels like a very hiqh quality. Not the cheap shiny stiff stuff that you get in a craft store. Will definitely buy again.

The product itself is fine actually quite nice. The price is good. Then what is the problem? This stuff STINKS! YA,that's right, it smells so bad I can't possibly make jewelry with it, or anything else for that matter.The smell is SO BAD it's totally UNUSABLE!!!!! I've tried several things to get rid of the smell, but nothing works. If you have something that removes disgusting smells, then this would be a good product.Now, I know what you're thinking, it couldn't possibly be that bad.Make no mistake, it is.I feel a little tempted to try it anyway, but then all I have to do is just smell it and I'm no longer tempted! Don't make the same mistake l did. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!
