Wow. I installed porcelain tile and these blades worked amazing..

We tiled the bathroom floors a while back, then we just decided to redo the shower. However the shower pan was too wide we needed to cut the tiles to fit shower pan. Diamond blade was awesome to cut through the tile with no effort. This was a good fine. My husband even used this tool to cut metal.

These diamond blades cut smoothly and stay sharp through multiple projects. They fit my angle grinder perfectly and work well on tile, stone, and masonry. Great quality for the price, with very little chipping. I would definitely buy them again.

These blades are okay for minor modification to porcelain tile but I wouldn’t trust them to cut a straight line without chipping. I used a professional wet tile saw to cut out most of the toilet drain hole and used these blades to clean up the edges carefully. They worked but they chipped the tile in a few spots but they were covered by the toilet so not a waste of tile.

I was very happy with the way the blades worked. No chipping and still on my first blade on my second tiling project.

While not the best grinder wheels on the market, for the price you absolutely can not go wrong! I use these blades for cutting polished porcelain, granite, quartz and ceramic tiles and they show absolutely minimal chipping in the glaze (so long as you have a steady hand of course!) The wider centre of the body does give it more rigidity than completely thin blades, but also means your plunge cuts must be careful or they'll leave a red mark along the cuts. Simple problem, but one worth mentioning. I've used 2 of the 5 blades so far (still on the second) but that's due to my mistake (dropped my grinder and chipped the blade). As with all diamond blades, keep a steady hand, let the blade do it's work and don't force the cuts!!! This can't be over-stated!!! If used properly with a decent grinder (as in, no wobble in the shaft) these are a great purchase for the professional installer and diy home owner alike. Well worth the money. I gave 4 out of 5 simply for the issue of the red streaks that you'll never get rid of if you plunge cut too deeply. That's a minor inconvenience rather than a design flaw, and something that after one or two cuts you can easily avoid.
