Does the Plus model have the same sticky/gooey plastic issue as the previous model?

Hercules stopped using that coating years ago. All is good now and the Plus models are much improved.

Does this model have the spring grip that is described as defective?

Both of my stands have “spring grip” and I’ve never had a problem with mine.

I bought one from guitar center, and it has the hercules box which is tightly packed. Just making sure same box they use. Is it?

Will this also work for electric guitars or are we supposed to buy GS415B?

It will work for others electric and acoustic. I have two and use them for each guitar.
