From there she loves playing with them, wearing clothes with them on. She decided she wanted a dinosaur birthday party so as part of that, I decided to buy this costume to surprise her on the day. She absolutely loved it! She kept running over to me to give "Rex" a cuddle.It feels like a flimsy thing but the party was the second wearing of the costume (the first being a quick test in the empty house!) It stood up to my nephew trying to drag me round the room backwards by the tail, as well as one of the other guests randomly punching the head when his parents weren't looking.It's really easy to put on. The ankles are elasticated so there's no fastening to do there. That's enough to keep the air in at the bottom of your legs. You pull the costume up and pull the draw string tight around your waist. Then flick on the fan (you need four AA batteries, not provided) and it only takes a few seconds to inflate.I used rechargable AA batteries and from fully charged they lasted for the two hours of the party. I thought they might be quite drained by the end as the fan seemed slower and they took a long time to recharge again afterwards, but that's the nature of rechargables. Use brand new batteries and you'll be fine.The hat is pretty naff but luckily I had a much better leather cowboy hat so didn't have to use the one provided. For £20 it's a great costume and I imagine I'll get a few more wears out of it.
